Unfortunate Ones
“If one of your brethren becomes poor, and his hand has become shaky, then you shall support him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you.” Leviticus 25:35
Many of the younger generation in America support being global citizens. Some of their beliefs include food, shelter, education and basic medical needs for all people, with little or no regard to borders or their own countries. While the idea, often mixed with flavors of both socialism and communism, might seem noble to some on the surface, undoubtedly they are being prepped for the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), better known as the Tribulation.
Through the federal government strong arming against state sovereignty regarding controlling the content of our respective education systems in this country, they have over a generation of those who through moral relativism, humanistic and propaganda, as well as just plain old ignorance, prepared to accept the coming Antichrist. Let me place a note here that the Rapture will happen before this time period begins, despite what the naysayers proclaim.
A moral society could never go down this road. What we have is a society that is custom designed by those who knowingly have engineered the entire ordeal, one of which is full of wickedness, selfishness and evil. To put this into scope we must first consider where America really stands amidst our current party attitude, then we must consider also the evil that we as a society have allowed to happen worldwide. How can a society that overwhelmingly rejects God’s Word and rejects Jesus Christ as their Savior assume to create a utopia? Quite easily, those who refuse to acknowledge their sin and repent to their Creator are the same as those who foster great evil upon unfortunate ones throughout the countries of the world.
First let’s take a look at the real condition of America, one whereas Americans through self pride, self consumption, consumerism and a truly full fledge me-based society ignore the unfortunate ones found in our own country. We must consider and think about some of the large problems that we find in the United States.
1.) Many of our major cities in our country are full of violence and evil. I’m no stranger to having seem these things first hand and neither are a lot of others, despite the fact that their daily commute to work might have them passing through one of the zones of a city of the unfortunate ones.
In these areas violence prevails, murders happen on a regular basis. Injustice is common as police often plant drug evidence on suspects, just to get them off the street. Children can’t even play safely in parks without being in the crosshairs of gunfire between street gangs. Women are ravaged, thefts are rampant and the rules of the street prevail, as those who are innocently stuck in an impoverished condition simply have to deal with the reality of the world around them. To them, a major city like Chicago, one of which I am very familiar with, is but a few blocks of their neighborhood where the fortunate ones travel to the Golden Mile, picking up their favorite brew from a local coffee shop on the way to their career.
The schools are not much safer, though they are locked down in a police state system of repression, they also harvest much violence, threatening those who refuse to align themselves with those who are actively participating in evil. With an education designed to create prisoners of the future, not only in the real system of derogatory economics, but also a system designed to make them unable to change their neighborhoods into a once against more flourishing society, instead of the current docile controlled godless society.
While these same conditions of repressions against the unfortunate ones in our communities are not simply limited to major cities, it is more prevalent and obvious to the eyes. As the government allows drugs to be shipped in, as the war in Afghanistan produces record amounts of opium that end up on our streets, let us never forget, though as much as those in power do not want us to look behind the curtain, that indeed a system of purposeful repression is in full play. A solution to counteract such measures is simply for those who are called to do so, to faithfully preach the Gospel in such areas as the ultimate solution, where those who are enslaved will truly be set free with the Truth that is found in Jesus Christ (John 8:32), our Lord and Savior.
2.) For those who are far away from such neighborhoods and enjoy the greater things in life, they too are also entrapped by the guiles of society. Personal credit card debt, mortgages, student loans, auto payments and a skyrocketing cost for both medical insurance premiums, as well as the respective deductibles that go along with them, have enslaved them in yet another trap.
They scramble to and fro, too busy to acknowledge their Creator, with the majority unwilling to help out or even acknowledge the unfortunate ones that are in many cases just miles away from their comfortable, yet unaffordable, abode. Consumed with the luxuries of social media, entertainment and the next meetup at a local club or coffee shop, there is no time to allow the realization that they are self centered, focusing on the things of this world, rather than the things of God. They are without self control, knowing certain things of God, but never willing to truly yield to Him, they refuse to repent and believe into Jesus Christ as their Savior. For just as they are unwilling to sacrifice their delicacies of life for those who are more unfortunate, they are unwilling to repent of their sins, their hearts just as wicked as those with less means.
“For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.” 2nd Timothy 3:2-5
“Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your calamities that are coming upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed the wages of the laborers who reaped your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you. Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Make your hearts firm, for the coming of the Lord draws near. Do not grumble against one another, brethren, that you not be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands at the door. My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering affliction and endurance. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the endurance of Job and seen the outcome brought about by the Lord; that the Lord is very kind and merciful.” Jacob (James) 5:1-11
3.) With a cry of making America great again, our nation looks to reap prosperity from the supposed benefits of simply ‘being great’, yet we never look behind the curtain, we simply don’t care. The assumption is that food aid through the United Nations feeds the hungry. Instead we as Americans support the corporations who raise havoc over the unfortunate ones around the world, not knowing what those in the upper echelons of both corporations and our government are doing to keep the empire going, truly an unfortunate truth of imperialism being used as a mechanism of evil, without the knowledge or even caring of the America people. This, in and of itself is a great evil.
A nation that preys off of the unfortunate ones through corporate-government partnerships that align themselves with many nations of the world, of which foster horrific conditions for many people in many different countries. Like our major cities full of those in poverty and despair, around the world there are the unfortunate ones who cry out, many knowing more about what is going on in regards to the imperialistic goals of our corpotracy then our own people.
While such topics might open up controversy among our people, should they take the time to understand what the unfortunate ones in many nations already know, the reality is that this has already happened and continues to accelerate. Many in positions of power will argue that if the World Bank, along with corporations, funded by the Treasury Department, in reality printed by the Federal Reserve, working with the government of the United States did not do these things than communism or Russia or China would simply come in and take over. So do those who follow the Manifest Destiny, popular in the 1800’s, who lead many corporations and embody positions of power in our government truly condone that the ends justify the means? Should evil be done that good come?
“Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin with cart ropes; who say, Let Him hurry and hasten His work, so that we may see it; and let the purpose of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come, so that we may know it! Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and understanding in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:18-21
Here we are, 2017, and most Americans are so wrapped up in a self centered world that not only would they not want to know about what is going on in the world, they also live in a society where the media is so controlled that it does take some diligent study to realize the mechanisms of our society, that is a far cry from the Constitutional Republic that was instilled in this nations many years ago.
Our sin has engulfed us as many find it more entertaining to take selfies with a woman who is passed out on the street from having been punched in the face during a robbery, rather than call for help. Our young people randomly assault people for no reason, except a game that they play, as they taunt and laugh, while recording a video for YouTube, as a man drowns in the ocean, providing no help. There are those in our worse neighborhoods that are shot or stabbed or hit by a vehicle, laying on the ground, helpless, as many will walk over them, so self-centered, that after taking a picture for their phone, they go into the convenience store to pick up a 40. A society that is ripe for the just Judgment from the Most High.
“For judgment will be without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Indeed, mercy rejoices over judgment. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Is faith able to save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith, if it does not have works, being alone, is dead. But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith from my works.” Jacob (James) 2:13-18
As the debts continue to pile higher than ever for our nations, as our forest burn down to the ground, as hurricanes wreck billions and billions of dollar worth of damage, they continue, continue to puff themselves up before their Creator, refusing to acknowledge the blood on their hands and putting both hands to do evil. They call justice acceptance and allowing men to behave as women and vice versa. Justice is not for those who are unfortunate, but for those who refuse to repent of their sins and continue on prompting their agendas of sodomy that is clearly contrary to God’s Word. They will stand accountable, yet let’s not forget those of the world who have suffered greatly under our hand.
Ours you say? Certainly not ours? Yes, with absolutely certainly, whether without knowledge or not, we have allowed a system of repression, the same which is slowly coming for us also, gaining much ground, to repress the unfortunate ones throughout the world. Just go to many countries around the world, go to the very bottom of the income bracket and ask, I challenge you ask! Ask them why they live in such filth, ask them why they cannot afford to eat, ask them why their children don’t have a proper education or medical care, just ask. I am certain, certain as the sun will come up tomorrow, that many will point to your country, yes they will point to the United States and deals that have been made through secret programs of repression, through the World Bank and through corporate-private partnerships, to their ills.
So what do we do, what can we do, what should we do? For if the realization of our nations sins are fully understood, both in our own borders and that done through certain mechanisms throughout the world, then we should stand in awe for the disastrous conditions that have been created. Yet how many would not want to take account for such things? For the realization of that, the full understanding of what truly oils the wheels of the United States to continue on would be the realization that by pulling the plug on these infamous systems, we would also pull the plug on our dissolving prosperity.
Adding in the fact that God is watching our nation, seeing what appears to already be judgments against our country, what should we do? Continue on in evil so good may come? Let it not be, rather let us look at our society and fall on our knees in repentance, hoping that God Almighty may have mercy on us. Though our standards of living would decrease greatly, could we not be satisfied if God had mercy on our land, to at least the extend of allowing us the very basic necessities of life, shelter, food, education and basic medical care? Will we not accept that which we proclaim to have as a goal for the countries around the world here at home or would we simply continue on in ignorance as our sins continue to pile up to the heavens?
Now for those of you who can hear, for those of you who are part of the unfortunate ones in the world, please pay attention. While many, even true Christians, do not have an understanding of what is done in America’s name amongst the nations of the world, truly our society is turning into a nightmare scenario, where even in the small town of Kalispell, Montana, we are not immune to the ills of our society caused by the sins of our nation.
To me it makes no difference what race or nation one belongs to, if they are in Christ, certainly they are part of the body of Believers and indeed our Home is all the same. So what can we do, what can people of the world do? What can we as Americans do? Essentially they have us trapped, essentially they have won. They didn’t win through the measures of repressive means setup among the nations, but the won through the refusal of Americans to accept God’s guidelines to humanity in the Holy Scriptures. They won through Americans reviling in their sin, so self centered that most all refuse to repent and accept the Gospel. Yet Jesus provided the solution, a solution to the inhabitants of the world.
Even if we lived in a society where indeed there was some sort of global utopia, where nearly every inhabitant of the earth had their basic needs covered, each individual is still going to stand before a holy and righteous God. Unless their name is written in the Book of Life, unless they have repented and believe into Jesus Christ, they will inherit eternal hellfire. The world isn’t going to change, even during the Tribulation, while multitudes are Saved (Rev. 7:9), the world as a whole refuses to repent of their sin (Rev. 16:11). While those in Libya are in cages, being sold as slaves, those in Australia push for same-sex marriage, those in Venezuela feel the effects of ill policies from the United States, as well as many nations around the world, understand that the noose is certainly being put around America’s neck and if the Lord doesn’t come back to take those who are Believers to be with Him, rapturing them prior to the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), I fear that we could be in for some serious trouble beforehand, albeit deserving.
“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has established a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has appointed. He has given assurance of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.” Acts 17:30-31
“And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works. And Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.” Revelation 20:11-15
What really needs to be done, is for those of the world who truly are Christians, we need to not forget about the unfortunate ones. While our hands might be able to provide some aid, what the world really needs is to hear the Gospel. God hasn’t forgotten the unfortunate ones and He will Judge appropriately.
“He sits in the lurking places of the villages; in the secret places he murders the innocent; his eyes are hidden against the unfortunate ones. He lies in wait secretly, like a lion in his den. He lies in wait to catch the poor; he catches the poor when he draws him into his net. He lies low and crouches, and the poor unfortunate ones have fallen by his might. He has said in his heart, the Mighty God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will never see it! Arise, O Jehovah! O Mighty God, lift up Your hand! Forget not the lowly poor. Why have the wicked spurned God? He has said in his heart, You will not investigate. But You have seen it, for You pay attention to trouble and provocation; to repay it with Your hand. The poor commits himself to You; You are the Helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked and the evil one; investigate his wickedness, until You find no more. Jehovah is King forever and ever; the nations have perished out of His land. Jehovah, You have heard the desire of the lowly; You will prepare their heart, You will cause Your ear to hear, to vindicate the fatherless and the oppressed, so that the man of the earth may terrify no more.” Psalms 10:8-18
“God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked? Selah Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; rescue them out of the hand of the wicked. They do not know, nor do they understand; they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. I have said, You gods, all of you are sons of the Most High. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth; for You shall inherit all nations.” Psalms 82
Please understand, dear reader, that God did not intend for society to go down this road, but He knew beforehand what would happen. This is why He provided Salvation as a free gift to all, through Jesus Christ (John 3:16). Hold on! Seek Salvation while you can, put your faith in Him and tarry on, even unto death (Psalms 48:14). For the time will come where it becomes increasingly likely that the only solution to the ails of the world will supposedly be fixed by the Antichrist. Then the world can look at the systems of repression that have happened in the history of the world and that are currently ongoing nowadays and understand that what has happened will not even compare with the horrific future that that time will hold (Matt. 24:22).
If only, if only the world, the unfortunate ones, could have hope in Jesus Christ, that despite the fact that their lives might not be such a great thing in the eyes of men, they would have the true riches that are only found in Jesus Christ (Phil. 4:19). With that they would be satisfied, knowing that the things of this world are passing away (1st John 2:17). My thoughts and my prayers are with you.
“There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. So it happened that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, nor can those from there pass to us. Then he said, I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, that they not also come to this place of torment. Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them. And he said, No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent. But he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one should rise from the dead.” Luke 16:19-31
“But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?” 1st John 3:17
Amen!
