The Foundation is Christ
What is truly right or wrong? Is homosexuality? Is abortion? Is stealing? What about lying? Cheating? Adultery? Drunkenness? Who is to say what is right or wrong in your personal life?
Gay people are now ‘out of the closest’ so it must be alright? If you should get pregnant and decide that you need to get a career first, is that really wrong? What if you need some food and steal some because you are hungry or just want to save some money? Everyone lies, so why not tell some lies here and there? Cheating doesn’t ‘hurt’ anyone does it? Your spouse doesn’t fulfill your desires or your marriage is what you expected, so why not commit adultery? How about drinking a twelve pack tonight, are you really hurting anyone else? The above is moral relativism.
Moral relativism is related to situational ethics, where a particular situation will determine if an action is right or wrong. According to situational ethics in some cases something that would normally be wrong may in that case be the right thing to do. Moral relativism is where each individual or group of people determine what is right and wrong. It is a ‘decide for yourself’ or ‘be yourself’ mentality. Essentially you make up your ‘own’ rules.
In the past couple of generations the American education system as well as the entertainment industry has pushed heavily for moral relativism. In fact it is gotten to be the norm that now to keep values that are consistent with what will follow the elite agenda children are being taught ‘values clarification’, which is instilling a corporate type system of values, or rather a mindless slave that does not question their master. In the workplace it is typically called core values during ‘training’, rather brainwashing.
So what has the outcome been of all of this change in values been? Are we now on a ‘higher’ train of thought? Have we ‘evolved’ as a society to become better people? Are things now fairer than before? Is society more courteous and caring? Are families closer? Are our churches stronger? Absolutely NO to all of the above.
In fact what has happened is the USSSA has become the most pagan, wicked country on the face of the earth. Our morals are shockingly low. So low that through a series of major events we could easily become a nation of the next Nazi’s or Stalinist’s! Why not, though? It is well known that communism did and still does deny God. Do examples need to be given as to how our morals are now so low? If you don’t get a dose of education from your nightly news, trip to the supermarket, driving in traffic or other interactions of people then perhaps you are part of the problem?
There is a very large problem with moral relativism, it is completely unbiblical. The opposite of moral relativism is moral absolutes. The Holy Scriptures is full of moral absolutes. In fact God demands that Christians follow His guidelines. What America has done is claim that we are a Christian nation yet behave so sinfully that we are blaspheming the Most High. Will America go unpunished? Have you read the Old Testament of what happened to Israel when they went astray? Judgment on America has already begun.
We were Created in His image and He sets the rules. God is just and He is in charge.
“He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a Mighty God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He.” Deuteronomy 32:4
That is AN ABSOLUTE.
“Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
That is AN ABSOLUTE.
“…in hope of eternal life which God, who is without lie, promised before the beginning of time…” Titus 1:2
That is AN ABSOLUTE.
The Holy Scriptures were given by God to us (2 Timothy 3:16). They are the moral absolutes that should be the ONLY foundation for which we live our lives. These are the standards, the rules, the guidelines that all men should follow. As Christians we are commanded to follow these.
Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15
That is AN ABSOLUTE.
Following these guidelines set by God to ensure that we are living holy and behaving righteously will allow those who abide in Christ (John 15:4) to avoid tons of snares and traps. Ultimately following equals victory in Christ. (1st Corinthians 15:57)
Nowadays preachers do not usually preach a lot about behavior and holiness. They speak to itching ears (2nd Timothy 4:3) and do not want to offend. As a patriot I watch as the country is quickly falling apart…however while I mourn for what could’ve been I do not mourn for the USSSA. America deserves the judgment that is coming from the Most High. The time for America to repent and truly repent is now, though the opposite is occurring and things are waxing worse and worse (2nd Timothy 3:13). What can the reader do?
Those whom God knows He watches out for (Psalms 121:5). What ultimately happens to His children (Christians) will be according to His will. You must act as an individual. Don’t wait for everyone else to join you but YOU follow Christ (Mark 8:34), you obey the Holy Scriptures, you remain holy and righteous until the end.
“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” Revelation 22:11

Drunkenness
“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging, and whoever goes astray by it is not wise.” Proverbs 20:1

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, sexual perversion, uncleanness, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21
“He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
