What is the answer to 1984?
The root of the problem.
The root of the problem with America is our withdrawal from following God’s moral laws that are given to us through the Holy Scriptures. Whether or not America was ever a Christian nation (which I don’t believe) it is certain that America was founded upon Christian morals. These morals held up pretty well until the 1950’s and then quickly disappeared since then. What was once considered immoral can not be considered moral.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20
How did this happen?
First of all this would NOT have happened if a large amount of America was truly saved AND kept the Word of God, vehemently upholding the faith. Compromise is not an option when it comes to the Holy Scriptures. ‘Thus saith the Lord’ is just that, the Lord has said and it is not up for debate. The preachers are commanded to:
“..holding fast the faithful Word according to the teaching, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict” Titus 1:9

Moral relativism has been taught by the psychopaths, I mean psychologists, and pushed through the educational system, television and other outlets. This essentially says there are no absolutes when it comes to morals. This philosophy teaches that one can decide for themselves what is right and wrong. Also different situations call for certain things that may be right in one but wrong in another, decide for yourself. This is opposite of moral absolutism, which is what this country used to believe. With moral absolutism the Holy Scriptures, where there are definite ‘yes’ and ‘no’ and specifics for what is wrong and right, how to behave, etc., society will function differently.
Where has this road of moral relativism taken us?
America has aborted over 48,000,000 of its citizens from the womb. Do I need chapter/verse as to why this is wrong? Gay rights have taken a place in recent years as a spotlighted political debate with various laws being passed including the right to ‘marriage’, etc. The Holy Scriptures clearly prohibits this. When a nation embraces these things, do you not think that God’s judgment will not come?
America embraces filth, such as Lady Gaga as the newest ‘craze’. Our homes are filled with people watching television shows that are not anywhere near proper in God’s eyes. But then this should not come as a surprise.
The biggest conspiracy of all out there is the conspiracy surrounding true biblical Christianity verses all of the phonies out there. Ultimately what ones life turns out like, rich or poor, healthy or sick, etc. will not matter when you meet your Maker. Whether we live in a ‘free’ country or become a totalitarian dictatorship also will make no difference in the end of our lives.
The answer to 1984 is biblical repentance and a return to God’s Word. As I stated above I do not believe that our nation as a whole is going to repent and return to the morals laid out in the Holy Scriptures. However, you, dear reader, can indeed have the ultimate freedom and that is the freedom that is found in Christ. You can accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and be free indeed!
“Therefore if the Son sets you free, you shall truly be free.” John 8:36
Regardless of what direction this country heads into in the next several months or years, we who are Christians can be assured that we dwell safely with Him. Can you say the same? Have you truly accepted Christ?

Time is of essence as the prophetic troubles lying ahead quickly come. Soon the Lord will return to take those who are His out of the world before the prophesied major troubles unfold. While patriots can stock up on this or that or prepare in this way or that way, it will all be in vain if one does not truly know Christ. In this late hour if someone reading this is confused by what is happening politically in the world it would be much wiser for them to seek God, accept the free gift of Salvation and study the Holy Scriptures, then waste what precious little time may be left researching the new world order.
