A lot of Montanan’s will tell you that Montana is ‘the last best place.’ This is a very popular slogan. To different people it means different things. Most consider this expression the fact that Montana doesn’t have a major city, is far away from the influence of one, giving residents a bit of peace and quiet. Others look toward the freedoms that are more prevalent than found in nearly every other state of the union.
The fact is that both are true. The Big Sky state offers many areas where an individual can find some peace and quiet from the everyday hustle and bustle. However, it also offers liberties and freedoms that are no longer found in the country, aside a bit in the Dakotas, Wyoming and Idaho. All of that is changing.
The internet, social media, government agendas and liberalism, from those who move to Montana, are beginning to have an impact. The once strongly Republican state now has a Democratic governor. Local city boards are slowly introducing legislation that would allow a creeping over-controlling government to take over. Most of the time, because it is Montana, these pieces of legislation are simply tabled. The people simply won’t stand for it…yet. Still, slowly the freedoms of this great state are disappearing. Why?
America was never a Christian country, but America did follow many principals, morals and teachings of the Holy Scriptures, America at least acknowledged God. Montana, being a bit behind in the times (which is a good thing), kept on with those beliefs for quite some time, as the rest of the country was quickly in the process of voting God out. At the moment many Montanans still believe in the God of the Bible, the Most High. This is changing at an alarming rate though.
Right now Congressman Daines is running for Senator. Here is a man who acknowledges the Most High, a man who believes what the Holy Scriptures says when God explains how the Earth was Created. Yet he has an opponent, this Democratic opponent, Amanda Curtis, who mocks God Almighty, Christianity and Second Amendment rights. Clearly the folks of Montana wouldn’t vote for her over Daines, would they?
While I believe that Congressman Daines has the overwhelming likelihood of becoming the next Senator from Montana, how much longer before the citizens of Montana decide they no longer want God voted in? Reading letters wrote to newspapers in Montana, I noted that Congressman Daines was ridiculed for his belief that local school boards should be able to decide whether or not to include intelligent design in the public education curriculum. The writers of these letters suggested that Daines was not fit for office because he wanted to allow children to hear both sides of the debate in this country, and allow them to make a decision on their own. Online, a popular website that discussed this same suggestion by Daines, had numerous comments from readers. Each and every single one of them agreed with those same statements against Daines, some even mocked God and the Bible.
How long before Montana decides to vote God out and with those votes, their freedoms and liberties along with it? Will God continue to be voted out of Montana schools? Will God be voted against with legislation promoting gay rights? Will God be voted against with every chance the liberals and atheist receive throughout the state?
When people vote against God they only provoke the Most High, proving their guilt in their sin.
