Emergency!

“Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this One adorned in His apparel, flexing His great strength? I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.  Why is Your apparel red, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?  I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no one with Me; for I tread them in My anger and trample them in My fury, and their blood is sprinkled on My garments, and I have stained all My apparel.  For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.  And I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold; therefore My own arm has given victory for Me; and My fury sustained Me.  And I will tread down the people in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will bring down their blood to the earth.  I will mention the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah has bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel which He has bestowed upon them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses.  For He said, Surely they are My people, children that will not lie; so He was their Savior.  In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.  But they rebelled, and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore He changed, to be their enemy, and He fought against them.  Then He remembered the days of old, Moses and His people, saying, Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within him; who led them by the right hand of Moses with His glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make for Himself an everlasting name?  He led them through the deep, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they might not stumble.  As a beast goes down into the valley, the Spirit of Jehovah caused him to rest. So You led Your people, to make for Yourself a glorious name.  Look down from Heaven, and look down from the place of Your holiness and of Your glory. Where is Your zeal and Your strength, the multitude of Your tender affections and of Your mercies toward me? Are they restrained?  Indeed, You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O Jehovah, are our Father, our Redeemer; Your name is from everlasting.  O Jehovah, why have You made us wander from Your ways, and hardened our heart from Your fear? For the sake of Your servants, return the tribes of Your inheritance.  The people of Your holiness have possessed it but a little while; our enemies have trampled Your sanctuary.  We are from antiquity; You never ruled over them; they were never called by Your name.”  Isaiah 63

 

Our world is changing rapidly and certainly not for the better.  For quite some time I have pondered whether or not to get into the Russian-Ukraine conflict, regarding how much discussion should take place in the political realm rather than the things of God. 

 

Finally the Lord laid on my heart to write an article from a different angle.  For there are those who write this or that regarding the ongoing proxy war between NATO/USA/Ukraine and Russia.  With that said, I will simple leave it known that I do not believe that either side is innocent in their actions, both are guilty. 

 

However the accusations that Russia has made against their survival being compromised by the United States of America and NATO must be known in order to fully understand the mindset, the potential situation at hand, as well as the potential fallout that could occur should a peace treaty not be taken up by the involved parties.  Our recent history has shown that world wars do not start off instantly, but rather evolve over time and then become global conflicts.

 

Now, most seemingly will disregard this, but there is a threat that has far surpassed what has happened during most people lifetimes, that threat is nuclear war.  Should this be taken lightly?  Should we think that such a scenario cannot or will not happen?  Do you believe that perhaps the United States is in the right, therefore no evil will come upon us?

 

Every time I think of that notion, one that holds true to the thread of the American patriotic population, one in whose minds the virtues of the second world war still thrive, one where America as a ‘christian’ nation liberated Europe from the evils of Nazism and that we must once again act, to repeat the same thing, in the minds of men we will be victorious for we are simply stopping evil and certainly evil will triumph over good, right?

 

Well the problem here is how exactly is one defining good.  Are we a good nation?  Are we truly a God-fearing nation?  Do we have a nation full of true Believers who are doing His bidding or do we have an unregenerate nation who pretends be a Christian nation, but in all reality we are a hypocritical people? 

 

When the thoughts of this past patriotic time, that time after World War 2, where Americans were the heroes, where we were the good guys, where we stopped the evil, we were also in a different America.

 

Elvis Presley hadn’t yet taken American over with his rock-n-roll music, the gyrating of the hips, the fainting young women who would often throw their underwear and bras on the stage.  No we weren’t there yet.

 

The Beatles hadn’t yet made it to the country proclaiming to be more popular than Jesus Christ, setting off record burning in the streets of America for such a blasphemous statement, one that would only briefly stop their rise to fame. 

 

We hadn’t yet been fully taken over by the filth out of Hollywood.  While the cinema was certainly bad from it’s inception, the television was not in the average American’s home.  This time would eventually come and then the filth could be watched on a nightly basis, rather than simply once a week.

 

We hadn’t yet hit the heavy metal era and then the hip-hop/rap scenes that have influenced numerous young people, now the parents of a rebellious generation(s).  During that time our Churches in this nation still were holdouts to the popular customs of a rebellious people.

 

On the outside the world partied, yet many Churches still professed repent and believe the Gospel.  Over time though the apostasy crept in to the point where one can barely find a Church that still resembles true biblical values, that truly follows and serves Jesus Christ. 

 

“You shall not follow the majority in doing evil;”… Exodus 23:2a

 

Back when the war was won, we loaned money to countries and were a lender nation, now we are a debtor nation.  The fruit of that was a man could earn a living, buy a modest home in a suburb, afford a family car, with the woman having the liberty to be able to help educate the children and take hold of those responsibilities that a virtuous woman would tend to (Pr. 10:10-31). 

 

The Department of Education hadn’t yet overseen all of the schools in this country.  In fact chewing gum or running in the halls were amongst the most common problems found in classrooms across this country.  Now drugs, suicide, murder, rape, extreme violence and numerous other things plague one school district to the next across this land.

 

Video games hadn’t yet been created.  Our teens, especially boys, hadn’t yet taken the controller to kill and maim, rob and steal and commit atrocities with the mind.  If one were to really understand the soul and blood, one would take Jesus’s Words to be very serious:

 

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not commit adultery.  But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”  Matthew 5:27-28

 

With the exception of the fringes of society, for there has always been those who have done these things (“nothing new under the sun” Ec. 1:9), these things moved into acceptance and normalcy, moral laws out the window, we began and still are reaping what we have sowed.

 

“Do not be led astray, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”  Galatians 6:7

 

This is nothing to say about the now allowed topless beaches (gender equality), transgender movement, LGBTQ movement or general wickedness and selfishness that pervades this once considered great land of ours.  Where we were never truly a Christian nation, we did by and large, once rule and law were introduced in conquered lands, follow much of the moral standards laid out in God’s handbook of Salvation and holy living, the Bible, and thus we reaped the benefits of the blessings from His hand, where I have mentioned previous with the amount of natural disasters that we have been having, it appears that we are now reaping the curses.  For one can not have one without the other, it goes both ways, despite the fact that most people do not acknowledge this.

 

“And Jehovah descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Jehovah.  And Jehovah passed before him and proclaimed: Jehovah, Jehovah Mighty God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and the sons’ sons to the third and the fourth generation.”  Exodus 34:5-7

 

So for the scorners that have made it this far in the article, you probably still are shaking your head out of anger and disagreement, arguing that we are not an evil people and God would not Judge us for our sins. 

 

Well we have to look towards the examples in the Old Testament, in particular Israel, which were written down for us, for that purpose. 

 

“Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were immersed into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food,  and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank out of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.  But with most of them God was not well pleased, for they were scattered in the wilderness.  Now these things became examples for us, so that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.  Neither become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.  Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them prostituted, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us test Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents;  nor murmur, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.  Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”  1st Corinthians 10:1-11

 

On the eve of Roe vs. Wade being overturned, as has been leaked and has been expected by democratic governors throughout the country, we have had 63,000,000+ abortions since that landmark case.

 

As a side note, please note that abortions will still continue, there will simply be some states that will be able to legally ban abortions or severely limit them, other states will proceed as normal.  Essentially under the Tenth Amendment, the ‘right’ will simply revert back to the States.  From what I read, it will only accomplish about a 13% drop in murder of infants.

 

Now, let’s imagine, if you can bear with me as I finish up the back drop of this article, that suddenly there was a change of heart, true repentance, that swept over this country.  Suddenly all of the states in the union banned abortion and our country wept over what we had done.  Certainly God would take note, would He not?

 

Of course, but do we think that though repentance had come, even if we as a nation diligently repented and turned to God, that there would still be no expectation of judgment against us as a nation, that God would simply overlook the innocent blood that had been shed across this land?  Well consider this Bible verse:

 

…“and also because of the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which Jehovah was not willing to forgive.”  2nd Kings 24:4

 

With the backdrop having been laid, let us now turn our attention to the ongoing war in Europe and ponder whether or not it would be possible for millions of Americans to be killed in a global thermonuclear war with Russia.  For those who enjoy reading between the lines or digging deep to figure out what is going on, I am sure you have heard of the great reset.

 

Some say that COVID was the first phase and war is the second.  In a nutshell, basically there are global economic hitmen who know that the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency is coming to the end of it’s cycle.  They have a replacement, it is called the SDR unit, essentially a basket of world currencies that would provide economic stability. 

 

On the conspiratorial side, COVID and war are being used to create a situation to shift the blame from an outright collapse to a given reason.  This would have the world leaders get together to come up with a predetermined solution, new to us, not to them, which would by and large usher in a one-world currency.  This to me certainly seems like something the Antichrist, if the Rapture had happened and he was rising to power, would be a big part of.  The man with the answers, the one for peace and prosperity.

 

“And also through his cunning he will cause deceit to prosper in his hand. And he will magnify himself in his heart, and through prosperity shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the Ruler of rulers, but he shall be broken in pieces without hands.”  Daniel 8:25

 

“And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the middle of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the grain offering to cease. And on a corner will be abominations that cause horror, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall be poured out on the desolate.”  Daniel 9:27

 

“For when they say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall by no means escape.”  1st Thessalonians 5:3

 

With that said, I would like to mention some thoughts that I have had regarding such a thing, how a global thermonuclear war could play in with the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), better known as the Tribulation. 

 

Talking with one of the other people behind All Will Stand’s ministry, we were debating the current situation ongoing with Russia and their continued threats to obliterate our country with nuclear weapons.  (In case you were not aware, numerous times Russia has threatened that this proxy war with them via NATO and the United States of America will lead into a nuclear war.  They have also threatened to reduce our country to ashes…more in a moment.)

 

When thinking about the last days, thinking of Jesus’s words in Matthew 24, I can not help but to wonder if –possibly- a nuclear war would be just the trigger for the man of the hour, the Antichrist, to rise to power afterwards, seemingly solving the world’s crises that would have taken place afterwards.

 

In an old article Lights Out, such things are mentioned in regards to North Korea, but let me add some additional thoughts on the matter.

 

Back in the 1950’s  and during the Cuban missile crisis, where children were trained, posthumously so, to hide under desks in the event of nuclear war, or Americans were told to duct tape windows, there was an awareness of the threat of an imminent nuclear war with the Soviet Union. 

 

A little known fact is that the Russian military is on high alert with their nuclear forces, Moscow and other places in Russia built modern nuclear fallout shelters and Russia recently had a very large nuclear drill.  The government of Russia has also told it’s people to prepare for the possibility of a nuclear war, as well as providing guidance to their citizens of what to do in the event of a nuclear war.  What has our government told us?

 

So how is it that we have this idea that we are good, fighting evil, so nothing bad can happen to us nowadays.  If scarcely a decade had went beyond our victorious liberating of Europe, that which ‘the greatest generation’ had rightfully so succeeded in accomplishing, were trained what to do in the event of nuclear war, bomb shelters were built and stocked with food, the government was actively holding up the means to prevent, through MAD (mutual assured destruction) and diplomatic means, but now?  Now we assume that nothing can happen and that we can just go on with life, entrusting our future into the hands of those who control us, without raising an eyebrow of concern regarding the future of a world run by leaders who liken that abortion is a ‘god-given right’, certainly not the God I serve!

 

What we have folks is a flat out emergency!  This is not an emergency in saying that for certain that there will be a nuclear war with Russia, I certainly still hold out to the possibility of peace, but it is an emergency of not taking things seriously and this reflects in our relationship with God as individuals, showing the darkness that prevails in our society. 

 

Ask anyone and they are a least wise enough to tell you that things are getting worse and this is not limited to our country but is prevalent across the world as well. 

 

Now as I write this I know that there are some who do take these things seriously.  In my article Unprepared: Prepped Without Oil, I go over some of the dangers on that.  Certainly this article is also not a call to prepare for nuclear war, one that is only a possibly at this moment anyway. 

 

Rather this is to get to the root of the problem of both narcissism and nihilism that are prevailing in this country and indeed around the globe. 

 

I did a quick web search to see if I could find an article about the mindset that is happening in this country, to try and understand the lack of concern.  I ran across an article going over a book that a Harvard professor had written, prior to the Ukraine invasion by Russia, regarding this sort of sentiment that is found in American culture today.

 

His findings, from a scientific world viewpoint, were that America had abandoned religion morals and also had an attitude of letting someone else take care of their problems.  Instead of personal responsibility, they laid the responsibility on the government.  For them, if there is a problem, they need to get so-n-so elected in order to fix these problems, instead of themselves going on.  Essentially they are too consumed with self to be able to take personal responsibility, so rather let others do it, while they will live there lives.

 

I mentioned this to my pastor today at Church.  I know that the Bible prophesies that in the end people will be lover’s of themselves, as well as the apostasy would take hold. 

 

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:  For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.  For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning, but never able to come to the full true knowledge of the truth.”  2nd Timothy 3:1-7

 

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, desiring to hear pleasant things, they will heap up for themselves teachers;  and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to myths.”  2nd Timothy 4:3-4

 

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, being devoted to corrupting spirits and doctrines of demons,  speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.”  1st Timothy 4:1-3

 

“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.  And many will follow their destructive ways, through whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.  By covetousness they will exploit you with well-turned words; whose judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction does not slumber.  For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those intending to live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the lustful behavior of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, his righteous soul was tormented from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds); then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust for the day of judgment, to be punished,  and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries.  Whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who consider it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, delighting in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls; having a heart exercised in covetousness; accursed children.  They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.  These are wells without water, clouds being driven by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.  For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through wantonness, the ones who have actually escaped from those living in error.  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.  For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the full true knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the end is worse for them than the beginning.  For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.  But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and, a sow, having been washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”  2nd Peter 2

 

However, knowing that what God says will always come to pass (Is. 46:9-11), I was looking for the logical reason as to why it has come to pass.  This, however, would be another topic, one that I will not divulge on at this time.

 

Now perhaps there is a nuclear war between Europe, the United States of America and Russia in the future, perhaps this takes place during the beginning of the Tribulation?  Perhaps not?  For we must always be careful, those who have repented towards God and believed into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Acts 20:21) to be ‘watching and ready’, as Jesus clearly states (Matt. 24:42-44).  We do not want our focus to be looking for a sign or a wonder that will then ‘confirm’ our faith. 

 

Rather we need to individually be looking towards Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2).  However, I do find it interesting to add a bit of another side note here.

 

Right now Congress, for the first time in over 50 years, is going to have an open discussion regarding UFO’s.  If you consider that it has been mentioned prior that the governments of the world could use a Project Blue Beam scenario (do not do an internet search on this if you are living in the Tribulation) that would have a fake holographic invasion of UFO’s, aliens, etc., in order to make up an excuse for the missing people (Believers) that occurred due to the Rapture.  I find the timing of these hearings to be suspect.

 

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”  Matthew 24:14

 

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and did not realize until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  Then two will be in the field: one is taken and the other is left.  Two will be grinding at the mill: one is taken and the other is left.  Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.”  Matthew 24:37-42

 

In the book The End (click to get a FREE copy) there is some discussion about what really the definition of the end is?  Is the end the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), the Tribulation, or could it also include some time just prior to the Rapture???  Big question that can not be answered with any certainty one way or the other.

 

What has always fascinated me is that people would be eating, drinking and getting married prior to the end.  What this tells me is that there is some sort of normalcy prior to the end.  Now, if as mentioned earlier, the timing of the Rapture were very soon and the rise of the Antichrist was at hand, would not a nuclear war be the perfect backdrop to be used as a pretext for these things to occur.

 

Would not the peace and prosperity that would be needed across the world, be a reason given for the world to unite behind a man, the Antichrist, to allow these things to happen.

 

Consider what the consequences would be to the world if there was a nuclear war, even if just several missiles went off in different directions.  I should add here that there is a treaty that in the event of a nuclear weapon being fired, there is a rule requiring an immediate meeting at the United Nations to try and as quickly as humanly possible resolve the conflict before any more nukes are fired.

 

After dealing with the shortages caused by COVID, the inflation due largely to the enlarging of the national debt and stimulus, now the world is dealing with what many in prominent positions are calling a worldwide famine that is coming. 

 

Should such a scenario take place, partly due to the war in Ukraine, as well as, from my perception, the Judgments of God against a wicked world, the drought in the western portion of the United States and many other factors, then we have a global problem.  In the United States recently the president of Goya Foods suggested that Americans would still be eating cake, albeit it would cost more, poor countries would really be struggling to avoid starvation.  In fact, there are already food riots springing up here and there around the world.

 

Where Americans get mad and sometimes buy alternative things or skip a product or two, other people around the world simply can not afford to eat enough calories per day, a truly sad situation.

 

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of travail.”  Matthew 24:7-8

 

Now just looking at this particular example, imagine if say 5 or 6 nukes went off in the United States on our grain growing lands of Montana and North Dakota, the spot where the enemy, that being Russia, would need to hit in order to minimize the retaliation Minuteman nukes that would be fired in return.  What and when could food ever be grown on these prairie lands again?  Not in our lifetime.

 

The disruption that a nuclear conflict would cause throughout the world in terms of commodities, supplies and energy would be unlimited.  Normalcy would be thrown out the window, the death grip of poverty would appear at the front doors of many people. 

 

Even in countries that did not have any fallout radiation or a direct hit, they too would also feel the consequences through exponential price increases and supply shortages throughout the world.  Countries would continue, as they already are, focusing on their populations with key commodities, banning exports into the world markets or greatly limiting them, so that their people have access to enough calories to survive.  Already India has taken large steps to diminish the amount of grain that they will export, fulfilling only existing contracts – the ones that they can not get out of – and then limited to discretion of a governmental oversight board.  Things are already changing fast.

 

If such a scenario as a nuclear war happened, then people across the globe in their respective countries would want normalcy returned as soon as possible.  They would want peace, they would want prosperity, they would do just about anything to get that back, including the possibility of giving away some of their sovereignty of their respective countries to do so.  Even in the United States of America, I certainly believe that predominately people would support extreme anti-constitutional laws passed in order to go on with life.

 

Which leads me to another point, one that backs up this idea that war is the second part of the ‘great reset’ that those in power are trying to wield over the populations of the world.  If things continue where they are now and continue to go out of control, where exactly are we going to end up anyway.  Nuclear war, for some, would just be a quick means to execute their satanic plans accordingly.  Understand that the New World Order is simply a name for what is the satanic Babylonian system that is already here, the one that is prophesied in Revelation (Rev. 17:5).

 

Now let’s cut to the chase about this threat of nuclear warheads being fired from Russia to Europe and the United States of America to see that indeed there are some clear quotes from Russia that proclaim that such an event could happen, ones that apparently most of the world, including most Americans that I have talked to, rarely raise an eyebrow of concern or simply an inkling of concern, but for the most part those thoughts are cast away as they continue in their indulgence of self.

 

In regards to Finland joining NATO:

 

“The collective West has announced a total hybrid war on us.”…“It is difficult to forecast how long this will all last, but it is clear that the consequences will be felt by everybody without exception.” – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov

 

Other quotes:

 

“We’ve done everything to avoid a direct clash but the challenge has been thrown to us and we accept it. Cancel culture against everything Russia is being used against us.” – Ibrahim Kalin, Turkish Presidential Spokesman

Asked about when Russia would use nuclear weapons:

 

“Number one is the situation when Russia is hit by a nuclear missile. The second case is the use of other nuclear weapons against Russia or its allies,”…“The third is an attack on critical infrastructure that will have crippled our nuclear deterrent. And the fourth case is when an act of aggression is committed against Russia and its allies, endangering the very existence of the country itself, even without the use of nuclear weapons, that is, using conventional weapons.” – Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev

 

I have read many other quotes, seemingly of which have been ‘1984ed’ down the memory hole.  Russia has also, via state ran news, threatened to destroy the UK with SLBM’s (submarine-launched ballistic missiles). 

 

Russia has the SARMAT-2 nuclear missile, also called satan-2.  This particular missile has, from my understanding, 15 warheads that launch upon reentry from space.  One missile is enough to destroy all major cities, making them uninhabitable, of the size of Texas or a country like France.  They claim that these missiles can get past the missile shield that the United States operates.  However, these missiles were just tested and they are not yet actively on the field in Russia.

 

In light of the events in Ukraine and the chess moves being made by world leaders and NATO, Russia is going to used existing silos, rather than build new ones, to have this new missile system ready to go by autumn, according to Russian news.

 

What percent of such events taking place in the future is unknown.  Could it be that millions of Americans are killed during a nuclear attack and then millions more die over the years due to the radiation dosage that they received?  This is to say –nothing- of an EMP attack (See the Lights Out article linked above) or the aftereffects of the millions who would die simply because there would be hardly any running vehicles, electricity, phone, etc.

 

The other night I went to give one of the other people in the ministry a call.  For some reason my phone was not connected to a cell tower, I had no signal.  I tried a few times than finally turned my phone off and back on and proceeded to call him.  For a moment, I had a thought about just how serious these things are and how people should not take this lightly.  Yet that is exactly what we see happening in the United States.

 

Amongst the people who I have talked to about my concerns with messing with Russia, via NATO, unlimited weapons loan program (approved unanimously in the Senate), as well as the direct threats from Russia, knowing full well that Russia claims that there were bioweapons labs in Ukraine, that the United States wanted Ukraine to become a NATO member state to threaten their (Russia) existence, even the claims from Vladimir Putin that there was talk of putting nuclear weapons in Ukraine, his reasonings for his ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine. 

 

I think of the skirmish that there was in Syria between the United States in Russia, though knowing that very few solders on either side where wounded or killed due to direct conflict of opposing armies, rather through Syrian controlled groups.  I now consider what I have heard of a loss of 25,000 Russian troops, numerous equipment and tanks, a warship, military generals, etc., knowing full well that the United States provided training, weapons, intelligence and guidance in many of these instances.

 

I also think of the hypocrisy of the Cuban missile crisis back in 1962, of when the Soviet Union was trying to place missiles in Cuba and our response, the standoff, the tense escalation and wonder if this is not Russia’s ‘cuban missile crisis moment,’ as they claim. 

 

Without dwelling much into politics, but pointing people to repent towards God and by faith believe into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Acts 20:21), the purpose of All Will Stand’s ministry, though diving into hot topics that the world faces, as the Lord leads, what I wonder about is the narcissism and nihilism that is seen throughout the majority of the United States, regarding this threat of nuclear war with Russia.

 

Certainly to say there is no threat would be insanity, for there is a threat.  The threat is real, the certainty of such an event of happening is plausible.  The question remains as to why the down-playing of a major world nuclear power threatening to launch nuclear missiles at our country is seemingly, by and large, in the back of Americans minds, at best.

 

This is where I come back to the opening chapter of Isaiah 63 in regards to this.  If you have read A Grand Delusion? article, you would be aware of something that will take place, however it works, during the Tribulation, where God allows certain people to believe ‘the lie’ (2 Thes. 2:11) in order that they will not be Saved (Rev. 22:11).  They are purposely blinded, their hearts are purposely hardened.  Just like Pharaoh and the story of the Israel’s leaving their bondage in Egypt, where after Pharaoh hardened his own heart enough times, God then allows it to be hardened (Exod. 9:12). 

 

Or I could mention Eli’s son’s, whom God allowed to not heed their father’s warnings (1 Sam. 2:25), for they also had crossed a line with Him, who Created the heavens and the earth, their fate had been sealed.  Well what about America and our hypocrisy.  Much has been written about this in articles found on the website (www.allwillstand.org) in the past.

 

Taking a look at Isaiah 63:6:

“And I will tread down the people in My anger, and make them drunk in My fury, and I will bring down their blood to the earth.”

 

This is Jesus speaking here.  Could it be that part of what we are seeing does not have a psychological explanation, as the Harvard professor would suggest, but is rather a willful ‘drunkeness’ being allowed by God, as is fitting, according to the Almighty?

 

For He (Jesus) also says:

 

“For the day of vengeance is in My heart, and the year of My redeemed has come.”  Isaiah 63:4

 

After all the world will eventually reap what they have sown in regarding to their rejection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  The free gift given by God (Eph. 2:8-9) and rejected by men, is still available for anyone to receive it freely.  Yet in our day and age, what is received is not the Jesus of the Bible, the true One and the ONLY Way (John 14:6), but a watered-down version, another christ (Matt. 24:24).  For Jesus Himself said that only ‘few’ will find the way (Matt. 7:14).

 

What about you, dear reader, will you individually seek Him before it is too late.  For truly, whether or not the future is bright and rosy or a nuclear holocaust makes little difference.  For the reality is that for each individual on the planet, without Christ, this is an emergency!

 

For the time will come when all men will stand before God, either at the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:10) or the Great White Throne Judgment.

 

“And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.  And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works.  And Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.  And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”  Revelation 20:11-15

 

Where will you be?

 

For those of you who are playing games with God and not living accordingly, have you examined yourself (2 Cor. 13:5; 1 John 1:6).   Are you truly Saved?  Do not play with your eternity, it is an emergency! 

 

Truly in the end, the full matter will be revealed, then what about those who will be ashamed for all eternity in the Lake of Fire.  While some might take time to make preparations for such an emergency as a nuclear war, my question would simply be:

 

Have you prepared your heart to meet your God?  The problem is not so much that there is a prospect of a nuclear war on the horizon, but rather people’s attitudes about such a possible ordeal.  These same attitudes are also how they behave towards a holy God and this will always be an emergency for each individual who does not accept the free gift of Salvation (Eph. 2:8-9).

 

“But no, rather, I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as refuse, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the Law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.  Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold, since Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.  Brethren, I do not count myself to have laid hold; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and stretching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  Therefore let us, as many as are complete, be of this mind; and if in anything you think differently, God will reveal even this to you.”  Philippians 3:8-15
