“And it happened in the same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur, the prophet of Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of Jehovah in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying, Thus says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. Within two full years I will bring back into this place all the vessels of Jehovah’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried them to Babylon. And I will bring back to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah who went into Babylon, says Jehovah; for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon. Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people who stood in the house of Jehovah, even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen. May Jehovah do so. May Jehovah establish your words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of Jehovah’s house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place. But hear now this word that I speak in your ears and in the ears of all the people: The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many lands and against great kingdoms; of war, and of evil, and of pestilence. As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then the prophet shall be known, that Jehovah has truly sent him. Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck and broke it. And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus says Jehovah, Even so I will break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the time frame of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.” Jeremiah 28:1-11
Well Donald Trump is now once again the president-elect, scheduled to take office beginning in January. Donald Trump stated that many have told him that “God saved him to save this country”, well, as Jeremiah said “Amen, may Jehovah do so”.
Of course there are/were those on the opposite side, we shall say those who are not fans of Donald Trump who compared him to Hitler, Mao and Pol Pot (Stalin also?), but seemingly those leadership voices that spread such rhetoric have suddenly cooled there tune, such as President Biden. But what if there were truth to that, what if Trump, who this ministry wrote about back in 2020, were indeed such a man, in fact in reality worse than all who ever came before him???
Well, a stretch, prove it, you say? Well, unfortunately Trump is going to provide what could be a small ‘bonus’ chapter to the Repent! book. For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, let us not jump to conclusions here, but let’s take a look at a couple of things that most of that which calls itself ‘christian’ seems to not understand. After all, have you not noticed how everything seems to be aligned and ready for the Rapture to happen at any moment?
Well for those who would agree that that is the case, let us once again examine how a ‘good’ guy could be a ‘bad’ guy, in fact the –worse- guy ever, but because of misconceptions of God’s Word, no one would really understand that. So to begin, let’s take just a very brief look at the False Prophet, as mentioned in Revelation chapter 13.
“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to do homage to the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven onto the earth in the sight of men. And he leads astray those who dwell on the earth by means of those signs which he was granted to do in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not do homage to the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, so that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.” Revelation 13:11-18
This bonus chapter is not going to go into depth again regarding this passage of the Holy Scriptures, but let us take a look at just a couple of characteristics of second ‘beast’, the False Prophet.
– ‘causes the earth and those who dwell in it to do homage to the first beast’
The False Prophet is what we could call a wolf in sheep’s clothing. This is a religious leader, one who –seems- righteous to the world and this False Prophet points to the Antichrist (the first ‘beast’) for the world to do homage to him.
– ‘he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven onto the earth in the sight of men’
This False Prophet is going to back his falsehoods up with lying signs and wonders (2 Thes. 2:9). Certainly the fire coming down from heaven (2 Kings 1:10-12), mimicking Elijah the prophet, will lead many astray (Rev. 13:14).
So with just a basic understanding, let’s stop there for a moment, for that is enough and take a look at the Antichrist as well and a similar description.
“The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12
The ‘lawless one’ is another name for the Antichrist. Note that the ‘coming’ of the lawless one includes ‘unrighteous deception’ amongst the other above mentioned attributes. Inotherwords, it will not appear to be a ‘bad’ thing. Also consider this term ‘coming’, that seems to match one who is ‘rising’ in power, an attribute of the Antichrist, something that Hollywood has only ever portrayed as more of an instantaneous leader, rather than a leader who ‘rises’ (Dan. 7:24).
The point here being that both the False Prophet, as well as the Antichrist will have the appearance to the world at large, as being ‘good’ guys, religious leaders, etc., they will not have –horns- coming out of their heads, holding a pitchfork. Will not the Antichrist do some good? Certainly, and you can read the book Repent! to see some of those characteristics.
Now certainly I am not trying to be the bad guy here, as there are a lot of things that I agree with president-elect and former President Trump on. In fact I think that Kennedy might very well make a good Health & Human Services Secretary, as well as I am for the idea from the upcoming Education Secretary to allow a homeschooling tax credit (it certainly is not free to homeschool, at least for us).
There are many things. Secure our borders – YES! Stop lettingg men play in women’s sports and vice-versa – YES! I could keep going, there are many things that President Trump will do and I believe he will do them during his second term. In fact, when he states that he can end the Ukraine/Russia (USA proxy) war in 24 hours, if there was any man whom I would even believe that to be a possibility with, that would be from Trump, – no one- else.
There is –much- more that could be said about many topics and how things are literally lined up perfectly for the potential setup of the Antichrist being unveiled, after the Rapture, but no one knows, except God (Matt. 24:36), but those topics will be saved for the Watching & Ready columns, as the Lord leads.
However, the goal of this ministry was never to be political, nor to be anti-Trump or pro-Trump (as many churches are), or anything like that, but once-again, when a man is rising to power who has all of the characteristics of the Antichrist that can be known prior to the Tribulation, then the Bible makes that person as a suspect, due to the prophecies written about the Antichrist, not my personal opinion (2 Pet. 1:20) but simply based upon what is written in God’s Word. Not that our goal is to find the Antichrist, certainly not, but when those prophecies are known and a world leader is rising to power, can one ignore them?!
So, former President Trump is now elected and will soon be once-again President Trump, yet in this very ordeal, with his claims, we will assume some legit validity with his claims of the election being stolen, the deep state coming after him, his enemies everywhere. Yet this article/bonus chapter is not going to get into the nitty-gritty of these things. MUCH could be said about them, but that is to miss the point of the purpose of this bonus material.
We have NEVER seen a President so persecuted by the system in the United States of America or (depending on your view) seen a man that was guilty, but in that position of leadership having the system (obviously largely unsuccessful) coming after them.
The very fact that former President Trump was accused of Russian collusion, arrested more than once!, had his Florida home raided and they were trying to put him in prison in which for anyone who was paying attention, made our country seem like a clown show to the world. Really, these things SHOULD NOT happen here. Yet Trump made the claim and sticks to it that the election in 2020 was stolen from him, in fact he went on national television and told the American people –prior- to the election that they were going to try and steal it. So if the ‘deep state’ or the ‘powers that be’ go through all of the trouble to try to keep him from being eligible for being elected again (some even say they tried to ensure he was assassinated, yet failed) then he would be a good guy…right? Well, not necessarily, this is a different topic, perhaps one that we will hear more from as someone is writing something very interesting that should be made available sooner than later (for those who truly know Christ, pray for this yet unnamed individual that they might be able to complete that which they believe God has laid on their heart to write).
All of this and you have the, at the time, standing President going on national television telling the American public that the election has been stolen and the courts will not take the case (Supreme Court) effectively ruling against him, not even allowing him to appear in court to present his evidence and make his case. Would not any other President have at least been allowed a brief, quick, emergency court hearing with the Supreme Court? So you ask, where are you going with this, while it is once again not the purpose of this ministry to be involved in politics, yet when it aligns with what God has laid on this author’s heart to present to those who will hear or when it fits with a biblical teaching as an example or some other purpose that aligns with the Holy Scriptures, it is certainly most appropriate. Now let us take a moment and carefully consider a prophecy regarding the coming ‘lawless one’ (thinking here how President Trump once pointed to the sky and stated that he was the ‘coming one’, probably a clip that could still be found on the internet)…
“And he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall trample it down and break it in pieces.
Dan 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings; they shall rise, and another shall rise after them. And he shall be different from the first, and he shall abase three kings.
Dan 7:25 And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall continually harass the saints of the Most High. And he shall intend to change times and law. And they shall be given into his hand for a period of a time and times and one half time.
Dan 7:26 But the court shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy until the end.” Daniel 7:23-26
Let us take a brief look at this passage and then focus on Daniel 7:26. So, without getting into great detail, one thing that people often miss from Revelation is it is not a ‘timeline’ but rather goes back and forth, same with Matthew 24. (Past, present and future (Rev. 1:19).) Does this passage do the same??? Let us ponder this for a moment.
In verse 24, the king that arises ‘shall be different from the first’, this verse is speaking of the Antichrist. How do we know it, well the description found in verse 25 clearly makes that known. The purpose here is not to get into much detail about this. Yet consider that it talks about how ‘he shall speaks words against the Most High’, etc. but then goes to verse 26 which states ‘But the court shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy until the end.’ Now just what does that mean and how would that work? For the Bible is not going to contradict itself here (or anywhere for that matter).
So here we go back to Revelation 13, just a few verses prior to the above referenced verses about the False Prophet. Let us consider this verse, shall we?
“And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.” Revelation 13:5
Now if you have ‘eyes to see’ and ‘ears to hear’ do you see the similarity between Daniel 7:25 and Revelation 13:5. Once-again, you can read the Repent! book for more details here, so just in a nutshell, the Antichrist rises to power, in fact he does not have full power until the second half of the seven year Tribulation, thus the forty-two months or three and a half years. Now that power goes all the way to the end. How is that known?
“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he led astray those who received the mark of the beast and those who did homage to his image. These two were cast alive into the Lake of Fire burning with brimstone.” Revelation 19:19-20
So the Antichrist and False Prophet are cast alive into the Lake of Fire, so right there we have that these people are judged by God Almighty directly, they are STILL in power and here at this point is the very end of the Tribulation, read the last verse of chapter 19 for yourself and then chapter 20 to see how this is easily known.
So back to the ‘court shall sit’ and ‘take away his dominion’ ‘until the end’. So what is the end? Is that the timeframe right prior to the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation???
Notice something here. Just ‘how’ does this work? Well Trump has provided a potential example on how this Bible prophecy would match if it happened prior to the beginning of the Tribulation.
We can clearly see that the end –cannot- seemingly refer to the end of the Tribulation. That understanding wouldn’t make sense for the Antichrist is still in power when he is judged by God and cast into the Lake of Fire alive. So, let us stop, and PAY ATTENTION for this verse clearly states ‘until’ the end. –If- and a BIG –if- we are seeing this fulfilled with Trump then TAKE HEED!
For the Supreme Court did sit and they refused to hear his case about the election being stolen, effectively taking away his dominion. Note something here though that is –very- interesting –until- the end.
Whoever this individual that the Antichrist will be, they will be someone who was in political power, that power will be taken away from them by a court and THEN they will get it back at the end. Folks, are we witnessing that happening now???
Well certainly there is no knowing for sure and far be it from this ministry to actual suggest that President Trump is the Antichrist, for neither I, nor any man do not have that authority. But to state that from my perspective every single characteristic of Trump seemly matches the Antichrist, those that can be known prior to the Tribulation, this now that he has been reelected is yet another one that could possibly be added to that list.
If only one of those characteristics did not match, then that would be enough he –could not- be a suspect. Now certainly I would agree as even Jesus does not know the ‘day nor hour’ (Matt. 24:36) it would also seem likely (a pastor friend also believes this and heard it from another pastor) that Satan would always have a man ready to fill that role, as he would also not know (as many thought that was Hitler, etc.), but when you consider our world, that generation (Matt. 24:34), the fig tree (Mark 13:28-29) and even Hosea 6:2, well it might just be best to be watching and ready!
Pay attention! But nonetheless, for those who say that President Trump is going to save this country, I say Amen & Amen, but nonetheless…
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with giddiness, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come upon you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36
