Are You Listening & Obeying?

“To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, and they cannot give heed. Behold, the Word of Jehovah is a reproach to them; they have no delight in it.” Jeremiah 6:10
Who listens nowadays? The world is full of God’s message of Salvation through Jesus Christ. The Gospel has been preached to every country in the world. The United States is full of churches, numerous churches large and small in every city. Who listens to God, of those who listen, who obeys?
Why has such a simple message of Salvation through repentance and faith into Jesus Christ, our Savior, been so difficult for many to understand? Why is it so difficult for those who are in the church, those who name the name of Christ and call themselves Christians to keep God’s message to humanity pure and simple. Is it too difficult?
Instead some churches pile on burdens to people, making the way of God to be through works, which is not how one gets to Heaven. Others, more frequently found in the United States and indeed much of the world now, do the opposite and simple water down God’s Word so much that people never find Salvation through the preacher. Where are the preachers that speak the truth, where are the ones who are truly called of God into the ministry of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior?
“He who is of God hears God’s Words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” John 8:47
Most of these churches are not Churches, they do not preach the full Word of God, oftentimes the perversions of the Holy Scriptures that they use are so far off from the truth it is nearly impossible for those attending to come to a full true knowledge of Salvation in Jesus Christ. Yet, despite all of this, these people do not want to hear. Is there yet a famine for the Word of God?
” Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine into the land, not a famine for bread, nor a thirst for water, but rather a famine for hearing the Words of Jehovah.” Amos 8:11
We are certainly getting close, but there is no excuse. Those who truly are seeking after Him, will find Him.
“And you shall seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
God is not far in terms that man cannot find Him. As long as the Rapture hasn’t occured, there are still His workers down here, warning and pleading with individuals to accept the free gift of Salvation. There are websites with God’s truth, sermons online where one can find godly pastors and yes, at the moment there are still true Chruches here and there scattered across the country. If an individual is truly seeking the Most High God they will find Him and they will be pointed to His Son, Jesus Christ.
