“Do I delight with pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Jehovah, and not that he should turn back from his ways and live?” Ezekiel 18:23
“Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall live life because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.” Ezekiel 3:21
A harsh title to start off an article with, but perhaps it could be something like #CastIntoLakeOfFire or #NotFoundWrittenInBookOfLife. These would be the harshest words, as each man will stand before their Creator and if their name is not written in the Book of Life, they will be cast into the Lake of Fire and tormented day and night forever and ever. So to those of you who can take a minute, for those of you who are willing to contemplate for a moment, what God’s Word declares about sin and about Salvation, then might as well do that now, before you stand before Him at the Great White Throne Judgment.
“And the devil, who led them astray, was cast into the Lake of Fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works. And Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.” Revelation 20:10-15
There, at the Great White Throne Judgment, you will no longer consider this to be hate speech or the person writing it a hater, but as you stand before God Almighty and are cast into the Lake of Fire for refusing to have repented and believed into Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He who paid the penalty for your sins, should you have been willing to accept this free gift from God; you will remember those who did not warn you, those who purposefully or in ignorance pushed you contrary from God and you will have eternity to contemplate these things, but there will be no undoing them. You will have made your decision, but yet here you are right now, still alive, still breathing, still not dead –standing before your Creator, here is your moment to consider, here is your moment to take a few minutes of your life to check into these things, take the moment, follow along, this might be your last chance!
Certainly there are many who deny that God exists, there are some who believe in numerous gods and then there are many who believe in God, yet they refuse to actually believe in who He is. While the category of those who don’t believe that God exists is probably of the narrower scope, with younger generations this is quickly increasing in acceptance, so let’s address this group first.
Here is what God says:
1.) You were Created…
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:21 (Keep this verse in mind.)
2.) God does exist…
“The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They are corrupt; they have done abominable works, there is no one who does good.” Psalms 14:1
3.) God Created the heavens and the Earth…
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
“The heavens declare the glory of the Mighty God; and the firmament proclaims His handiwork.” Psalms 19:1
If you are in this group…take a few more minutes to continue reading, all of this is going to be put into prospective.
Now let’s address those who believe in numerous gods, certainly more prevalent, even in the United States, than one might think.
1.) There is only one God…
“I am Jehovah, and there is none other, no God besides Me; I embraced you, though you have not known Me; that they may know from the rising of the sun, to its setting, that there is none besides Me. I am Jehovah, and there is no other; forming the light and creating darkness; making peace and creating evil. I, Jehovah, do all these things. Rain down from above, O heavens, and let the clouds pour down righteousness. Let the earth open, and let salvation bear fruit; and let righteousness spring up together. I, Jehovah, have created it. Woe to him who strives with the One who formed him, a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to the one who forms it, What are you making? Or your work, He has no hands? Woe to him who says to his father, What are you begetting? Or to the woman, What are you writhing over? Thus says Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and the One who formed him, Do you ask Me of things to come? Do you give command to Me about My sons, and about the work of My hands? I have made the earth, and created man on it; I, with My hands, have stretched out the heavens; and all their host have I ordained.” Isaiah 45:5-12
2.) God is in three persons…
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not lay hold of it.” John 1:1-5
“For there are three that bear witness in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.” 1st John 5:7
So far, so good. You might disagree, you might have other thoughts, but hold on it a minute…why not contemplate these things for but a moment…after all, if what is being stated here is the truth…which it is, then why risk eternity in the Lake of Fire?
All around the world there are religious people. Quite honestly, oftentimes they are so hypocritical in their beliefs that a lot of people stay away from religion for that very reason alone. Now the Bible is what we have to tell us about God, as well as declare the Gospel. The Holy Scriptures makes known to us the Way of Life (John 14:6). So rather than simply make a statement, let’s see what the Word of God states regarding this:
“Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of eternal life. And we have believed and understood that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” John 6:68-69
“I have not departed from the Commandment of His lips; I have treasured the Words of His mouth more than my prescribed food. But He is One, and who can turn Him back? And whatever His soul desires, that He does.” Job 23:12-13
“All Scripture is breathed by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2nd Timothy 3:16-17
“For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And we heard this voice which came from Heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so we also have a more sure Word of prophecy, which you do well to heed as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that not any of the prophecies of Scripture came into being from personal exposition, for prophecy was not formerly brought forth by man’s choice, but holy men of God spoke as they were propelled along by the Holy Spirit.” 2nd Peter 1:16-21
Okay, so we have some very simple examples from God’s Word, the Bible. So we can see that clearly what God has stated, the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Next we are going to take a look at whether or not God changes His mind on the things written in the Holy Scriptures.
“For I, Jehovah, change not.” Malachi 3:6a
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
“For truly I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled.” Matthew 5:18
“For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and consecrated place, even with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. For I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry; for the spirit would grow faint before Me, and the souls I have made.” Isaiah 57:15-16
So now herein lies the problem and this is a very serious problem, in fact the most serious problem facing humanity, a crisis like none other; the simplicity in Christ (2 Cor. 11:3) has been taken away, the world either is full of false religions or apostate churches (2 Tim. 4:3). We are in an era where literally, there should be a hunger for the Word of God (Amos 8:11), people should be seeking Him (Is. 55:6), yet they have turned back, not known Him (Matt. 7:23) or wholesale rejected His truth (Is. 53:3). God doesn’t change (Mal. 3:6), Jesus Christ doesn’t change (Heb. 13:8), but yet the world does?
Let’s address this problem face on, let’s talk about this right now, for this is serious. In the day and age of tweets, understand that #NotYou is a warning to the world that indeed they need to truly seek after their Creator, repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
“Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7
“For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2nd Corinthians 6:2
“The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has done, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall live life; he shall not die. None of the transgressions which he has done shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. Do I delight with pleasure in the death of the wicked? says the Lord Jehovah, and not that he should turn back from his ways and live? But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the treachery of his unfaithfulness, and the sin which he has sinned, in them he shall die. Yet you say, The way of the Lord is not fair. Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair. When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is for the iniquity which he has done that he dies. Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he has done, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he has done, he shall live life; he shall not die. Yet the house of Israel says, The way of the Lord is not fair. O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair. Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, says the Lord Jehovah. Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity shall not be a stumbling block to you. Cast away from you all the transgressions by which you have transgressed, and prepare for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit; for why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies, declares the Lord Jehovah. Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:20-32
“And he said to me, Do not seal the Words of the Prophecy of this Book, for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to what his work shall be. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and prostitutes and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and produces a lie. I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you, to the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take of the Water of Life freely. For I testify to everyone who hears the Words of the Prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add upon him the plagues that are written in this Book; and if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this Prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this Book.” Revelation 22:10-19
Some prime examples…
Recently Australia has paved the way for legalized gay marriage. Yet we already laid out God’s Truth in this article, proving that not only is the Bible God’s Word, but God doesn’t change. So what shall we do with these truths?
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray. Neither prostitutes, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1st Corinthians 6:9-10
Not your opinion, nor mine, but what the Bible says: #NotYou
Constantly we are barraged in this country regarding the absolutely despicable men pretending to be women and women pretending to be men, pushing this false damnable doctrine down into young school aged children, piling up the sins on those who accept this heresy, as well as practice it.
“And even as they do not like to have God in their full true knowledge, God gives them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with every unrighteousness, sexual perversion, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, depravity; whisperers, defamers, haters of God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do them, but also approve of those who practice them.” Romans 1:28-32
Certainly God’s Word is not silent on this and obviously there will be many who will not repent of such sexual perversities, even during the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), which is not exclusive to the transgender movement alone. So for those who scoff at this, for those who decry hate speech, for those who consider this to be an attack on their supposed freedom and liberty (which would never include freedom to sin and rebel against your Creator, whether or not you choose to accept it), understand God Almighty has spoken and His Word will absolutely stand.
“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27
“But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has yoked together, let not man separate.” Mark 10:6-9
“But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not do homage to demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which are not able to see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders nor their sorceries nor their sexual perversions nor their thefts.” Revelation 9:20-21
“And they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.” Revelation 16:11
You’ve been warned: #NotYou
There is a lot of misconceptions going on out there. One thinks that Hell is currently on earth, another thinks there is no eternal Hell, another thinks that there is a place called purgatory. One thinks that accepting sodomites and transgenders are acceptable, another thinks that such can be preachers of God, most think that, like other sinners, these people too can get to Heaven, as they are. Why?
The same who claim to believe in God, claim to know Christ or not, claim to be on their way to Heaven, but ABSOLUTELY deny what the Bible teaches about God, refusing to believe the Bible and what we are told by God! No wonder there is so much confusion, yet for many in this apostate day and age, this is exactly what they desire.
“You believe that God is One. You do well. Even the demons believe, and shudder.” Jacob (James) 2:19
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, being devoted to corrupting spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.” 1st Timothy 4:1-3
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.” 2nd Timothy 3:1-5
“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, through whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with well-turned words; whose judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction does not slumber. For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those intending to live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the lustful behavior of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, his righteous soul was tormented from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds); then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust for the day of judgment, to be punished, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries. Whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who consider it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, delighting in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls; having a heart exercised in covetousness; accursed children. They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds being driven by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through wantonness, the ones who have actually escaped from those living in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.” 2nd Peter 2:1-19
They desire to be told nice things, to not have to make any changes, to PRETEND that they will go to Heaven, that they will not be punished in Hell for eternity. They certainly can get large numbers of people to agree and go along with such a false doctrine, but what will they do in the end? What will they do when they stand individually before God Almighty at the Great White Throne Judgment?
“But evil men and pretenders will grow worse and worse, leading astray and being led astray.” 2nd Timothy 3:13
“Do not be led astray, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:7-8
“Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they revere Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. And when He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, Hear and understand: Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. Then His disciples came and said to Him, Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying? But He answered and said, Every plant which My Heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into the ditch. Then Peter answered and said to Him, Explain this parable to us. So Jesus said, Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated into the sewer? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual perversions, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.” Matthew 15:7-20
“The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their own power; and my people love to have it so, and what will you do in the end?” Jeremiah 5:31
Unless their name is written in the Book of Life (Rev. 20:15), unless they have repented and believed the Gospel (Acts 17:30-31), there is absolutely no other way of which to obtain Life (John 14:6). They have made their decisions, their decisions are sealed, there is no more chance or choice to undo it. They stand before God and have decided to stand before Him, their Creator, not as their Savior, but as their Judge!
Yet for those who might ponder these things before it is too late, for those who might consider these things, who might simply take the few minutes to make it to the end of this article, understand that when that time happens you will have made your decision. When you take your last breath, then you have finalized your decision (Prov. 11:7). Why or why will you die? Why or why would you rather spend an eternity in the Lake of Fire than accept the free gift of Salvation that God provided for all of mankind (Eph. 2:8-9), to those who are willing to accept it. Such a simple and wonderful free gift, as Christ paid the penalty for our sins (Rom. 4:25).
Some will try to follow traditions, such as the Roman Catholics, some will try to follow other cunningly devised fables, such as the Mormons or the Jehovah Witnesses, some will try to follow some sort of new age spiritual awakening. Do you not look around you? Can you not see what is going on in this world? Do we not understand that the amount of Americans who are on some sort of psychotic drug to get rid of depression, etc. is sky-rocketing to the point that over 25% of our college students now take at least one kind!
Yoga and other supposed gateways to spiritual health are exploding, yet inside, if not filled with demons, from the fruits of their errors, people are empty, depressed on drugs, prescriptions and alcohol from one end of this country to another. They fill their homes with garbage that they don’t need, not caring about those in other places around the world who have little, yet they are more miserable than many of those who have but the bare necessities that are required to safely sustain human life and dignity. We stand in this country, poor and blind, refusing to accept the Gospel, refusing to repent. We refuse to be obedient to God that has Created us, we refuse to die to self and truly follow Christ. Instead we make a mockery and blaspheme God with our actions.
“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing; and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked; I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. After these things I looked, and behold, a door having been opened in Heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after these things.” Revelation 3:14-4:1
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17
“They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and reprobate with regard to every good work.” Titus 1:16
Is it any wonder that yet another wildfire is burning out of control in California, with the boys from Montana headed down to give a hand? If North Korea makes good with their threats, and there is little doubt that they could, would we cry out to God and call His ways unfair? What will you do when the Rapture happens and you find yourself Left Behind? What will you do if you are one of the apparent 90% who die during the Tribulation? Unless you are sealed in Christ (Rev. 6:9-11), you will go to the Lake of Fire, forever and ever.
No, many wish to yell, you are wrong! Wrong they say, this is not my opinion, but this is rather what God has spoken. You say wrong? Do you tell Him who Created the heavens and the earth that what He has stated is wrong (Rom. 9:20)? Do you tell Him who calls the shots that He is wrong? Do you suppose to say a single word against your Creator (Job 42:6)? Irregardless, some could have such folly stored up in their heart, but understand that your opinion is fruitless. God is real and what He has told us in His Word, the Bible, has not changed.
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
You want to know if these things are true, then search the Holy Scriptures (Acts 17:11). You want to know how to be Saved? Simply, repent and believe into Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. (SEE END OF ARTICLE FOR MORE IN DEPTH) You don’t think you have a need for a Savior? Well you are wrong, for all have sinned (Rom. 3:23, 6:23). I would rather offend with this article than cause the greatest offense a man could ever have towards fellow mankind.
That offense would be to know the Truth, that without Jesus as your Savior, you are going to Hell and not tell people, to not at least warn them. Then I would consider myself to be horrendously wicked, as if I knew that the bridge was out up ahead and didn’t tell the family who was traveling on the road to stop. Well I am telling you to stop and to contemplate your ways to take some time to look into Salvation, to search the Bible yourself, to seek God while He may be found. I don’t want the situation for you or anyone else to be #NotYou as you stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgment. Take a look around, things are not going well around the world…just how much time do you have left?
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many entering in through it. Because narrow is the gate and distressing is the way which leads unto life, and there are few who find it. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them from their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree produces excellent fruit, but a corrupt tree produces evil fruit. A good tree is not able to produce evil fruit, nor is a corrupt tree able to produce excellent fruit. Every tree that does not produce excellent fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. What are the choices…?
New Heavens & New Earth, New Jerusalem, Living with God forever…….
Jesus promised.. “In My Father’s house are many mansions..I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:2-3)
God gave John visions of the future.. “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away…and the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.’ (Rev 21:1-3)
Heaven is exclusive.. “…but there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” (Rev 21:27)

Lake of Fire, Outer Darkness!
Judgment.. “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged, each one according to their works, by the things written in the books. Anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Rev 20:12-15)
Characteristics of the condemned.. “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev 21:8)
Results of trying to get to heaven the wrong way.. “When the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment…and said to the servants, ‘Bind him..take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Mt 22:11-13)
What kind of judgment.. “..to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched” (Mk 9:43)
Eternal doom.. “And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.” (Isa 66:24)
Why will people go to Hell?
There is None Righteous, No, Not one
Nobody is good.. There is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all gone out of the way; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.” (Rom 3:10-12)
Even our best isn’t good enough.. “But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rages..” (Isa 64:6)
The First sin, disobeying God.. God said to Adam, “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die …the woman…took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” (Gen 2:17, 3:6)
Whole human race corrupted.. “For as in Adam all die…just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.” (1Cor 15:22, Rom 5:12)
Sin is inherited at birth.. …behold I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…for the wages of sin is death.” (Ps 51:5, Rom 3:23, 6:23)
Punishment is well deserved.. “The soul who sins shall die…and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself…it is their just due.” (Ez 18:20, Rev 16:6)
Is there a way to escape hell, and go to Heaven?
The Blood of Jesus Christ…the Gift of God
God’s gift is through Christ.. “…the wages of sin is death, But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom 6:23)
Christ’s blood.. “The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1Jn 1:7)
Undeserved, not of self.. “By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Eph 2:8-9)
God’s great mercy and cleansing.. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.” (Titus 3:5)
We were helpless sinners.. “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly…God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom 5:6,8)
Jesus, the Only Way.. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (Jn 14:6)
What must I do to be Saved?
Repent – Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Faith in Christ.. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)
Believe that God exists.. “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is [exists], and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Heb 11:6)
Humility and Contrition.. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” (James 4:8-10)
Repentance.. “These times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.” (Acts 17:30)
God’s extreme patience.. “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise…but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2Pet 3:9
Key Elements of the Salvation Message–available to ALL people.. Paul reviews “I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you…testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks [Gentiles], REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Acts 20:20-21)
No time to waste.. “..behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2Cor 6:2)
Characteristic of a Believer.. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2Cor 5:17)
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life…For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord Shall be saved”–John 3:16, Joel 2:32
