Buy Now, Pay Later

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, without sin, unto salvation.”  Hebrews 9:27-28

 

“Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.”  1st Timothy 5:24

 

There is a lot coming together, as far as understanding, from a biblical perspective, how to convey the obvious dangerous trap that the world is going head first into.  To be honest, it is almost unbelievable the sneakiness of those who help to manipulate society to literally allow a prison to be put up around them, both virtual and physical.

 

I have been asking God for wisdom to understand this, as well as how properly put this information out there, for whoever it might be that would consider their ways, repent towards God and by faith believe into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Acts 20:21), before they are left behind (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 4:1).  If time remains and it is in the Lord’s will, then this material will be produced. 

 

However, the trap that is set is rather large and complex, so trying to break it down into segments might prove useful for some of it.  In all reality, probably only the surface is going to be scratched.  We are not to search out the “depths of Satan” (Revelation 2:24), so my research has been very limited, in which case I have noted that –just- the right material that is needed to understand enough of the system has been coming my way, without much need to actually have to research on my own.

 

So the premise for all of these writings is the following verse:

 

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads the whole world astray; he was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”  Revelation 12:9

 

Our discussions regarding these matters are going to seem ‘crazy’, ‘unnecessary’, ‘odd’ and ‘highly controversial, as well as ‘contested’ by the vast majority of people, in fact most would probably be ‘naysayers’ regarding any of this material.  Yet, I stand on the Bible, God’s Word to mankind, for the Bible states that the whole world is being lead astray by Satan, therefore, as I consider preaching the Gospel to be incredibly important (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 2:2), warning people to turn from their ways (Colossians 1:28), repent towards God (Acts 17:30-31) and accept the free gift of Salvation (Ephesians 2:8-10), before they are either left behind (2 Timothy 4:1) or die in their sins (John 8:24).  You see, there will come a time, when that is, I do not know (Matthew 24:36), but there will come a time when the Rapture will have happened and the whole world will have been lead astray (Revelation 12:9).

 

We are to be ‘watching’ and ‘ready’ in this –very- late hour (Matthew 24:42-44).  All around the –fig tree- warns us to take our lives before our Creator very seriously (Matthew 24:32).  This is not a time of playing games or postponing Salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).  No rather this is a time of serious diligent Bible study (Acts 17:11), seeking God with our whole heart (Jeremiah 29:13) and doing His good work, preaching to anyone who might listen, until Christ comes to receive His bride (Matthew 24:46).

 

So let’s look at one aspect that has slowly been considered, as piece by piece of the puzzle has created a picture of part of what appears to be this deception by Satan to lead the whole world astray. 

 

What happens if we are inadvertently feeding the very system with the information necessary for it to build those prison walls to enslave humanity, with the culmination of that system during the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7), better known as the Tribulation?

 

We are a society that has been given a lot of free, useful tools over the past quarter of a century.  Sometimes we could clearly see the cost of these tools, such as calling the ‘Free 411’ hotline to get a phone number. 

 

There an advertisement would be played and then the phone number given.  It should have been readily understood by anyone who dialed that number that in exchange for the information, you would have to listen to an advertisement.  You got the service, they made money through the ads that you had to listen to.  You paid for the service by listening to the ad.  However, we have a lot of things that we haven’t considered very well, our society is experiencing what appears to be a buy now, pay later dilemma and just what is the cost?

 

Have you ever sat back and considered some of these free services that have been around for years and years?  These services that are available online, for instance there are numerous social media websites, some of which are far more popular than others, as well as search engines and email providers. 

 

For startup companies, it makes sense to offer a free or reduced product, especially in the tech industry, in order to get establish, noticed, grow (you need large numbers to actually survive) and then become whatever type of paid service that you intended to be. 

 

Years ago, in order to build websites (there is another free service, but I am not going to lump open-source software into the equation), I needed to purchase some themes and other plugins.  For some of them I simply became a ‘lifetime’ or founding member, same with an email client that I purchased.  These companies no longer often offer these types of deals, only when they are startups, and for most of them I have far exceeded the value of the initial investment.  I paid now and received later (thankfully) the service I expected and hoped would continue to provide functionality in how the internet is accessed by most people (smart phones being able to use my websites). 

 

However these other services that are taken for granted and not considered by most people, are usually free.  Most everyone uses search engines on a regular basis, has one or more free email accounts, uses social media, sometimes multiple accounts, even other software to video call, have virtual meetings, etc., much of which is free. 

 

So how do these companies make money when we are not paying for much of these services?  Well advertising, obviously.  However they are also data mining and while this is by no means going to come even close to being a comprehensive write-up about this, simply a basic mention of how they are building some of those prison walls and what those wall actually contain that are being used to slowly, already, enslave humanity, without most of humanity even knowing it.  Our world is about ready to pay for that which we have already received, the amount is coming due.

 

Most people are probably aware or at least should be aware that there is no assumption of privacy with any of these services, particularly in most of the United States (with the exception of California that has some minimal privacy guards).  So it should be understood that the data that you give out, including email content, is able to be collected and given to anyone who purchases it, within the guidelines that one has agreed to (that nearly no one reads), as their guidelines are updated to reflect new policies, etc.  In fact this is a way that the federal government gets around the Fourth Amendment.

 

While the rights of citizens are supposed to have some sort of privacy, that right doesn’t generally extend to information collected from companies, tech companies included, except for when there is some sort of limiting of sharing placed by congressional law.  So the government in many cases has simply been able to get information, often for a fee, about the user of the service.  Now we won’t get anymore into the lack of privacy aspect of using these services, but let’s focus on those prison walls, the enslavement aspect, the pay later portion of such services.

 

Data mining is big business.  Take a look at how much some of these free services earn and compare it to all of the benefits, employees, technological know-how, servers, data storage facilities, as well as the prowess and power of the CEO’s and other top leaders of these companies, now consider an aspect that is not talked about regarding our buying now of these services as a society.

 

What we have been giving these tech companies is information and lots of it.  Often what is probably seemingly useless information.  Behind the scenes they have quietly been building and working on artificial intelligence systems, far more advanced than what is being publicly released, for the average user to ‘play’ with, getting them then accustomed to such technology that is very dangerous indeed.  What they needed was ‘human behavior’ information and that is what we have been giving them, even more so nowadays as technology becomes integrated more and more with our daily lives.  You could even consider that they are likely testing human interaction with this basic models of AI systems, in order to modify it for more commanding use against society in the future.  What a great way to test products for virtually pennies on the dollar!

 

One of the things that these companies have been doing is feeding AI systems to understand, recognize and acquire attributes that are God-given to humans, created in the image of God.  We could debate back and forth the reasoning of how this technology will be used, but I will simply point those who disagree with the nefarious suggestion here to read the book of Revelation, consider the unfulfilled prophecies that are certainly, without a doubt, coming to the inhabitants of the earth and them tell me again whether or not this newly sought after technology, on the most fundamental level available to the average user, are being built to enslave mankind or not? 

 

Now the purpose of this article is not to continue furthering the discussion of the AI technology, it’s implications, etc.  Only know this, certainly the government must have secret technology, for military and possibly even more clandestine operations against it’s enemies, that FAR exceed what is publicly accessible.  Basically the ‘IQ’ of what is out there would likely be the equivalent of a class Apple II computer verses a modern day Mac Book Pro.  In most all other technologies, such as the internet, which have been released, the government had much experience with those things long prior to us even realizing such technology. 

 

If, we the people, give our enemy, that being the AI system the means to understand how we think, why we think, how we make decisions, what we like, what sells an idea, a product or a service, how to persuade the masses, then we have a VERY dangerous system in play, one that can manipulate all of us.  I do not profess to be even more intelligent than such a system, though I would believe it could be somewhat manipulated (with the early systems), I wouldn’t bother to chance it.  These systems are designed to manipulate us, to be change agents, to sway public opinions, as well as the classic method of advertising (Ecclesiastes 1:9) to sell something. 

 

So let us take a moment here and ponder, openly, some of the potential implications here and then consider those perhaps in a bit of a potential Tribulation time period aspect, finally wrap up with that basic concept of buy now, pay later, of which we look at.

 

Potential Implications

 

For many years we have seen a society that has slowly been morphing worse and worse.  Now we can see from the Bible and Israel’s history of serving the Baals and other false gods, that mankind can go down the road of total apostasy, blaspheming the very Creator with their actions in a fairly quick order.  Yet we know that these last days will be special, in that they will be like the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37) and the days of Lot (Luke 17:28).

 

“Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were immersed into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank out of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.  But with most of them God was not well pleased, for they were scattered in the wilderness.

 

Now these things became examples for us, so that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.  Neither become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.  Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them prostituted, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us test Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; nor murmur, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.  Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.  Therefore let him who thinks he is firmly established take heed that he not fall.”  1st Corinthians 10:1-12

 

Now we don’t know exactly how bad those days were, but we can take a look at a basic Bible lesson and understand that in both cases they exacted God’s Just Judgment against in one instance (days of Noah) the whole world, with the exception of Noah and his immediate family (1 Peter 3:20), as well as cities (days of Lot) (Genesis 19:24-25).  This wasn’t a buy now, pay later scenario for those inhabitants of the earth or cities on the plain, but rather a buy now, pay now scenario.

 

Yet we should be able to clearly see and even those who don’t profess faith in Christ will often attest, that things are worse than they were when they were younger (2 Timothy 3:13).  This is not simply a problem that is only in the United States of America, but I have heard it from other countries as well, the same problem, apparently the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, worldwide.  This is part of Satan leading the ‘whole world astray’.  This is one of those conditions and also part of the apostasy that the Bible prophesied would also happen in the last days, of which to any student of the Bible should be quite and readily apparent (2 Timothy 3:1-5; 4:1-5; 2 Peter 2; etc.). 

 

A pastor of whom I am familiar with used to suggest that the real trapping that started and led to this modern day apostasy began with the Silver Screen or movie theaters of old.  While I am not going to necessary discredit that, after having given such a thought much consideration, I really would take it one step backward and suggest that radio was the originator.

 

Movies certainly did it better, as they offered a visual to the viewer/listener, so while it was likely more effective as a medium used by Satan to begin to lead the whole world astray, I would suggest it was the radio that actually caused the original problem and here is why…

 

There has always been towns that have had their own sin, some exceedingly wicked, consider Sodom.  Out here, in western South Dakota, where I currently reside there is an infamous town of Deadwood, known for the madams, the gambling, the murders, the wild west, the things of the popular cowboy movies of old.  This is still a popular tourist destination and a gambling hotspot to this day, though the gun slinging shoot outs are widely a thing of the past. 

 

Yet what happened in Deadwood, SD would have only affected a small portion of people living in the United States during that time.  There were ‘deadwoods’ all across the United States, including not far from my hometown in Michigan.  I grew up in northern Michigan and Leelanau County has quite the shady past as well (for those on the other side of the state, take a look at Bay City’s ‘hell mile’ history)! 

 

Now radio was a medium that eventually grew from local area/city shows to nationwide syndicated programs that Americans of old, including my ancestors, gathered around the radio to listen to a popular show that would come on.  On such things, this medium allowed the spread of ideas from one area to another, eventually allowing them to spread over much of the United States.  Movies had a similar effect.

 

Consider that a movie, with morals, good and bad, ideas and other messages (political, military advantage or civic) could be spread from Hollywood to a small town in Iowa or the coast of Florida.  These movies often even took their fame out of this country and spread throughout much of the world, to the enjoyment of the viewers.

 

Yet even from the beginning of these things, even though sometimes subtle (sometimes not), they were clearly against God’s Word, the Bible.  They taught rebellion.  Who is the ultimate rebel and how is he rebelling? 

 

As music became popular, you can simply easily understand the culture changes that happened to society through trends (clothing, behavior, etc.) that were unleashed through largely these mini-rebels of God, who were teaching rebellion to the people. 

 

From Elvis to Beattle-mania, to Aerosmith, TuPac, Madonna, Snoop Dogg to now Taylor Swift and others who are popular at the moment.  These caused notable changes in society.  Even popular movies when I was younger would cause misbehavior at school and other events with people mimicking ‘punch lines’ of the movie or behaviors.  As societies around the world became more in tune with the latest technology (radios, televisions, movies theaters, eventually CD’s, MP3’s, DVD’s (let’s not forget 8 tracks and VHS J )) these ideas went from locally corrupting to able to corrupt the whole world, with many movies dubbed in local languages to the delight of the viewers.  They changed the whole world, which has been and still is being led astray.

 

Now fast forward to the internet that started off taking some time to actually take hold of the interest of all ages of society and societies from around the world, but that transformation has now happened and is continuing to evolve with the onset of smart phones, a mobile computer, in most people’s hands, irregardless of which country you might be in. 

 

Now these ideas, news, entertainment can spread virally in a VERY SHORT time period, but nonetheless they do spread eventually, corrupting society before a holy and mighty God more and more.  Now consider and don’t forget about the ‘days of Noah’. 

 

“Do not be led astray: Evil company corrupts good character.”  1st Corinthains 15:33

 

Now a history of these sort of things could be written and indeed there are books on such subjects, but the Bible is suffice, the history that is recorded in there for our benefit to point each individual away from these things and to know Christ and Christ alone (1 Corinthians 2:2).  But for the sake of this article and to knock out the point, we must add AI into the mix.

 

After a somewhat lengthy intro, now consider AI being used as a tool to lead the whole world astray, not that there are not positive aspects of AI (there are), but the Bible does state that the whole world will be lead astray and AI is certainly a tool that can quickly aid in that, moving society more and more away from God to a world that is ripe for His wrath, of which it is certainly coming, for God cannot and will not ignore it. 

 

“For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”  Isaiah 26:21

 

We have seen some pretty dramatic changes in the thought patterns, moral reasoning of our society.  In fact, if we want to actual go back before radio, we could add that books were the medium prior to that.  For the influence of Charles Darwin’s ridiculous and clearly disproved theory of evolution (Romans 1) spread throughout the world through a public that had learned to read and write, using the medium of a book.  Yet God’s people for quite sometime managed to hold the ground on this rebellion taught by men such as Darwin.

 

With AI in real time, corporations, governments, foreign military intelligence and other actors (known or unknown) can test out how to psychological manipulate their audience and see the effect of it, then tweak it to try and achieve the desired outcome. 

 

For instance, without knowing the fullness of the matter, there seemed to be this idea this previously holiday season to go to e-cards to save money.  The idea was printed in our local newspaper and presumably placed on the world wide web.  The very fact that I managed to see less cards at the places that we do business, as well as caught a conversation in line at a post office (from a much older woman) speaking of how much a stamp costs, verses her sister who doesn’t have email so she has to mail a card complaint was fairly remarkable.

 

What if this technology and it is, is being used to push people into more debt, a situation where the general public can be controlled (Proverbs 22:7).  Could this be part of the great reset that some warned about when covid was first happening???

 

What this technology can do, and it does, it can be used to slowly and subtly show up in social media feeds, search engine algorithms, as well as the classic radio, television and Hollywood entertainment outlets to promote sexual perversions, such as multiple new types of people?  Could you convince most of the public, using AI to aid in that convincing, as you have allowed AI to adopt the ‘hive mind’ of the public, to use that information against its very subjects, to mold them into a product that is even more ripe for God’s wrath upon the inhabitants of the earth?

 

Well that is just one aspect and the one that really was an eye opener for me was the ‘digital’ coupons at your local (big corporate beast) grocer. 

 

You see, shall I tango with this technology, outsmarting it, getting the best deals, doubling up on coupons, manipulating it BUT ALSO training it, teaching it, giving it the information it needs to know to prevent such deals from happening, allowing it into my thought patterns to be able to manipulate me in the future.

 

How many battles have been fought on the battlefield based off of the likely psychological choices that the enemy forces were going to make based off of prior moves from a certain General or other commander?  When you consider the deals, some of them amazing, that grocery stores (as well as other retail establishments and restaurants) are giving out with these ‘great’ apps in order to get those deals, we ARE LITERALLY TRAINING THE ENEMY TO EVENTUALLY ROB US OF ALL THAT THEY CAN!

 

AI will take our children and mold their minds into the product that was intended from the beginning.  AI will use this gained information and more information that it is being fed every single nano-second to further manipulate societies and groups around the world, preparing them for servitude to corporate Babylon (Revelation 18) and the one-world government, the Antichrist government system coming in the future and WE are telling them exactly how to do it.

 

They are going to know how we –think- we are going to prepare for these times (for those who prep, Believers are already prepared (1st Thessalonians 4:17)), how to manipulate you, your neighbors, your family, those who attend church with you, the education, financial, banking systems, this is serious.

 

The one major complaint I have seen about AI is how it will take away jobs, sure that is part of the enslavement, the talk about universal income, that type of stuff and there is already enough written about that topic.  What about the furthering of enslaving people into sin before their Creator?

 

What about molding their mind in virtual environments with entertainment options currently not available that ‘surpass’ the pleasures in the real world…different topic here, but a quick mention.

 

Every ‘like’, tweet, post, search, email, cloud upload, text, photo, video, comment, video chat, allows this AI to grow in it’s artificial knowledge of the real world where it will surpass the intelligence of any given man, being able to then wield it’s manipulative power on the unsuspecting populace, as well as placing virtual and digital walls around society that will prevent a return to the days of analog and paper trails, creating that virtual prison, with cameras and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) creating those physical prison walls, utilizing such intelligence and automated systems to look for future enemies (and current) of the state conducting their business and eventually fleeing from the government that is to arise, the Antichrist world government.

 

Tribulation

 

The virtual world, being driven in part by AI behind the scenes, is creating a web, a buy now, pay later web, with incentives and discounts, molding and modifying the way to the human psych, using AI that is developing quickly, to finalize the product of control through information gained from every single item looked at, how long, what colors, the descriptions (thinking retail here), as well as pricing point to make that final decision, but how what happens when they snuff out their competition.

 

One bank said of another, the bank that doesn’t use AI is like a bank of old not having a calculator.  Well AI will help give a final edge, depending on how long the Lord tarries, to allow the Babylonian merchants (Revelation 17-18) to grow even bigger, sucking up their competition in every industry out there, using AI to their advantage, something the smaller companies can not do.

 

During the Tribulation, AI will be there to watch the movements of the inhabitants of the earth virtually through surveillance techniques, at a time when men will start to become sparse on the earth (Isaiah 24:6; 4:1).  Without the manpower to hunt and search everywhere, how convenient that technology could do much of the work and in fact already is, unbeknowest to most people just trying to carry on their lives in a world that is getting farther and farther away from the virtues and commands of their Creator.

 

Buy Now, Pay Later

 

This should come as no surprise.  The world has always been a buy now, pay later society.  The difference is that God sent His Son to die on the Cross for our sins:

 

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.  The one believing into Him is not judged; but the one not believing is judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.  For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been worked in God.”  John 3:16-21

 

Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the Cross (1 Peter 2:24) to all who will accept the free gift then and now (Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Peter 3:9).  You see God paid now so that mankind could buy later (for free). 

 

Unlike the gimmicks that are after our information (as well as advertising profits) in order to grow the ultimate manipulator, the AI system that I assure you will be used in one form or another during the Tribulation, as it is already used now), the gift of God was truly free, no strings attached, in fact eternal life given to those who accept the free gift (John 10:28).

 

God looked at us, He provided the ultimate resolution for the enslavement to sin that mankind has been stuck with since the fall of mankind in the garden of Eden with our original parents Adam and Eve (Romans 5:12). 

 

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue to abide in My Word, you are truly My disciples.  And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.  They answered Him, We are Abraham’s seed, and have been in slavery to no one at any time. How can You say, You will be made free?  Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Everyone practicing sin is a slave of sin.  And a slave does not remain in the house forever, but the son remains forever.  Therefore if the Son sets you free, you shall truly be free.”  John 8:31-36

 

The world we live in is grower ever more dangerous and mark my words, these systems that we are feeding with every detail of our lives, our thoughts, our purchases, as well as religious and political ideologies are going to come back our way.  Yet, without Christ it avails nothing, you might as well get the ‘deals’ and enjoy the virtual machines gifts to yourself, for in Hell it will not be virtual and no gifts will be given, but rather you will reap for all eternity that which you have sown. 

 

“And many of those sleeping in the earth’s dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting abhorrence.”  Daniel 12:2

 

“And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.  And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works.  And Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.  And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”  Revelation 20:11-15
