Nobody Takes it to Heart

“Therefore He has poured upon him the fury of His anger, and the strength of battle. And it has set him on fire all around, yet he did not know; and it burned him, yet he did not lay it to heart.”  Isaiah 42:25   Are the ‘powers-that-be’ getting ready for the mass deception that will culminate with God’s judgment of the world during the time of the Tribulation?    The reality is that there is evidence readily seen for anyone who is paying attention.  The Bible is quite clear that those who are Christians are to be ‘watching and ready’ (Matthew 24:42; Luke 12:40), yet the vast majority of those who profess to be Christians are neither watching nor ready.  Yet a potential scenario for a post-Rapture deception that seems to be a plausible possibility is ramping up over the past couple of years.   In the book The End, Project Blue Beam is mentioned, with a warning to those who are reading the book after the Rapture happens to NOT search for it on the internet.  At that time, it will be even more dangerous to do so, rather than an internet protocol address getting noted by the ‘powers-that-be’, if such a scenario actually plays out during that time, those trying to research such a scenario may very well be collected by the Antichrist world government system and ‘disappeared’ from society.   Of course with the censorship, counter false news and fake intelligence implants, reliable information regarding Project Blue Beam would be harder to come by then now, perhaps impossible during that time period.    While All...

Eternal Rest

“His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will appoint you administrator over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”  Matthew 25:21   This is taken from a parable taught by Jesus.  For the purpose of this article, we are only going to focus on the precept taught by Jesus to hear the ‘well done’ by being a good and faithful servant, eventually entering into eternal rest with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.   There are a lot of people who have hard lives, some more obvious than others.  When we go downtown or to known trouble areas of the city, handing out tracts and Bibles, we witness first hand the very hard lives of those who have obviously been captivated by the devil and are on the broad path to destruction (Matthew 7:13).   The other day we were making a round and after speaking to several people, handing out a drink and a snack, we were nearing the end of our resources on hand and heading back.  We still had a few more drinks and tracts and decided to cross a street where there was some sort of problem playing out.   Unbeknownst to us, a domestic dispute had just occurred.  There was a man with his hands up, ready for police intervention, he had just beat his wife, though no police were yet arriving.  There another man was trying to get him to move along, threatening to and then eventually calling the police over the domestic dispute.  His wife laying next to...

Guillotines & the Bible

“And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not done homage to the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”  Revelation 20:4   This article is being done as a supplement to a radio show that will be aired in both the Philadelphia metro area, as well as throughout Africa.  Let’s take a moment to address this issue and look at some of the history of this teaching, then find out what the Bible says about guillotines and the Tribulation time period, starting off with a bit of history of the use of guillotines in our modern era.    Some research will show that guillotines and their predecessors can be tracked back to the Middle Ages, but the popularity of the guillotine, in its current form thought of in modern culture stems mainly back to the French Revolution.    During the French Revolution executions by guillotines were popularized and became quite a public display of death that were experienced by numerous amounts of victims.  In fact, the guillotine was used in France first in 1792 all the way until 1977!    There have been those who proclaim to have evidence for several years now of a conspiracy of guillotines being prepared to be used during martial law in the United States, as well also at least in...

The Dead are Alive!

“And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.  And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works.  And Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.  And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”  Revelation 20:11-15   Finally, after a lot of catching up to do with other financial priorities, there was both time and enough money to be able to go out and proceed forward with the street ministry in Rapid City, SD.    I’ve always been a firm believer that going out by twos are a good practice (Mark 6:7) and seeing as how I have yet to find another who is willing to brave the streets to hand out Gospel tracts, Bibles and a snack to those who need it, my eleven year old son, who was Saved at the age of 4, is the other one who goes out with me.    While we walk around downtown Rapid City, we follow God’s attribute and are no respecter...

Biblical Principles of Financing – Six Days to Work

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.  Six days you shall labor and do all your work, and the seventh day is the Sabbath of Jehovah your God. In it you shall not do any work; you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your sojourner who is within your gates.  For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah has blessed the Sabbath day and consecrated it.”  Exodus 20:8-11   Believers are not under the law (Matt. 19:18-19) for we are Saved by grace (Eph. 2:8-9), nonetheless we are commanded to not forsake the assembling of ourselves (Heb. 10:25).  So rather than turn a biblical principle of financing written piece into a segment about the Sabbath day, this is simply taking a look at an approach of how much should one work in order to pay the bills.   Before proceeding, there are all sort of financial problems that people, including Believers, get themselves into.  There could be an occasion where you are forced to work temporarily seven days per week.  Perhaps you have made a commitment, perhaps you have a contract for a business that you can not break and things didn’t go as you planned, forcing you to work more (this has happened to me), perhaps your spouse is temporarily unable to work and you have to pick up additional hours or a second job until that source of income can come back or perhaps you need...
