Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2nd Corinthians 6:2 There is a lot of talk nowadays about the end times, people wondering if we are in the end times. Well, we have been in the end times for quite some time, but if it brings up memories of things you heard in the past regarding the apocalypse, this isn’t at the moment of the writing those last days yet. I’m going to go out on a limb, suggesting that if several people were to read this they would become angry with me regarding saying such things, but that is alright, they need to be said. With as much chaos as the coronavirus is causing around the world, there is a bright spot in all of that. Never in my life have I seen a renewed interest in prayer, God or the things of God, even if misdirected. God knows the heart (Jer. 17:10). So if people begin to search and try to figure out what is going on (Jer. 29:13), those who are true Believers need to ensure that the full message of Salvation is preached, both repentance and faith into Jesus Christ (Acts 17:30-31, 20:21, Ro. 10:8-10). The world was going on in its normal course of a downward spiral, when suddenly this virus shook the ordinary day to day operations – tossing normalcy out the window. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies.” Ephesians 6:12 There is a lot going on in the world nowadays, some very troubling things happening. I think of the things that were on my heart to write about just a month and a half or so ago and look at the current state that we find ourselves in since then, it is remarkable. Truly my heart goes out to the people in China. Many of the videos I have seen, that Chinese citizens have managed to get out through a VPN, are indeed very disturbing. I have no doubt in my mind that the situation has staggered out of control, that the coronavirus probably has killed more than 50k and infected hundreds of thousands, if not many more. Right away rumors began to circulate at how this was a bioweapon. I have seen evidence that it does appear to be, with another media outlet reporting on the HIV markers found in the virus, yet does it matter? For even if it were not a bioweapon, in today’s society there would ALWAYS be people who would claim it is. For truth has been cast down, no one knows who to believe anymore. Rather than wonder if it was a bioweapon that accidentally spread or if even our government is using such a tool at an opportune time is not known. The premise of the book is how, even if, President Trump were the Antichrist, the Church wouldn’t know it. The book is titled Repent! and available for free on the website. I’m glad that I published it when I did. The purpose of the book is not to declare that President Trump is the Antichrist, but rather to point out that even if someone like him has characteristics of being the Antichrist they would go unacknowledged by the church. I’m very glad that the book was published prior to President Trump’s unveiling of the Israel peace plan. For I would not want that to be a thesis of the book.
