CHAPTER FOUR Biblical Repentance & A Tidbit Of Thought As previously mentioned in these articles, The Night is Far Spent; The Holy Scriptures teach us that humanity is genetically coded to sin against the Almighty God ever since Adam and Eve’s first recorded historical sin against the Creator explained in the Book of Genesis. Chapter Four, Titled: Biblical Repentance, has been written to explain why humanity needs to realize their condition of sin and why humankind needs a repented heart with God. Therefore to understand a repented nature, one must understand the seriousness of SIN. True believers in the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ should naturally want to work for the Lord. True believers should naturally want to live a holy lifestyle that is pleasing to the Almighty God. Sadly some Christians enter a stage of carnality. Backsliding is indeed deadly to a genuine believer spiritually. For one, I can attest to the fact that I had lived in a phase of carnality for a very long time. This doctrine, although biblical, is not how a genuine Christian man or woman should live. A backsliding Christian should, eventually, repent and turn from their sins. The Holy Scriptures teach us that a true believer in Jesus Christ should bear fruit. This fruit indicates one’s conversion. However, a truly converted Christian can backslide and show virtually no fruits for periods that can last a long time. CHAPTER TWO Depravity of Man, Righteousness Of God, & A Tidbit Of Thought Depravity of Man: The depravity of humanity shows us that a Divine God exists. Shortly after humankind was “created” by God’s existence, our fallen nature has been waging war against the Creator due to Adam and Eve’s sin against the Almighty. The Book of Genesis backs up the teaching that humanity has ever since been waging war against our beloved Creator. “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17. During man’s first recorded history of our existence, God put Adam and Eve in a perfect utopia. The environment designed in Eden would be in continuous harmony with nature, and all living species, small and large, weak and strong, lived in absolute peace. Jehovah only had one established rule. This rule was simple. “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (17). INTRODUCTION: If an individual truly loves someone, they will desire not to want to hurt them. This love can only be sincere by individuals willing to speak the truth to build a lasting friendship. If such individuals are eager, to tell the truth, it is possible to desire a genuine friendship with such a company. Therefore, let’s talk about truth and not deceit, as this article seeks friendship with those who desperately need truth. Oftentimes there simply is not enough money to provide adequate nutrition, education, clothing and suitable housing. Yet in many countries the opposite is true. While there are many who complain about the unfairness of the world economic system, in many countries adequate food can be obtained, as well as a better quality of the necessities that each individual desires. Then there are countries like the United States, large portions of Europe, portions of Asia, Australia and Canada where food only becomes a lack of choice, due to finances, not a lack of availability.
