As Little Children

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greater in the kingdom of Heaven?  And Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, Truly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of Heaven.  Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is greater in the kingdom of Heaven.”  Matthew 18:1-4   I awoke today with a thought of just how simple it should be for people to believe the Gospel.  Irregardless of what might be taught by the ‘professionals’ throughout the world, I wondered why no one questions the fact that the world is not yet overpopulated.    A quick Google search and I found that supposedly mankind is six million years old, the current evolved form of mankind (I guess that would be us) is around 200,000 years old, civilization as we know it is around 6,000 years old and the industrial revolution started in the 1800’s.  In and of itself that evolutionary statement of disbelief aligns itself with the Word of God in that the world is around 6,000 years old, so I agree with the civilization portion, any book would quickly verify the industrial revolution.  But according to mankind, the current form of humans is 200,000 years old, why isn’t the population of the world too many people?   In 2000 years, according to those who do such research, the population has went from somewhere between 170 – 400 million, increasing steadily to around 7.5 billion people today.  If mankind...

Enslavement

“The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many lands and against great kingdoms; of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.  As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then the prophet shall be known, that Jehovah has truly sent him.”  Jeremiah 28:8-9   “Jehovah stands up to plead His case, and stands up to judge the peoples.  Jehovah will enter into judgment with the elders of His people, and their rulers. For you have eaten up the vineyard, the plunder of the poor is in your houses.  What do you mean that you crush My people, and grind the faces of the poor? says the Lord Jehovah of Hosts.  Furthermore Jehovah says, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched out necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and make a tinkling with their feet; therefore Jehovah will attach scabs to the top of the head of the daughters of Zion; and Jehovah will lay bare their secret parts.  In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, and their headbands, and their crescents of the moon, the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils; the turbans, and the leg ornaments, and the sashes, and the perfume boxes, and the amulets; the rings and nose jewels;  the festal apparel and the outer garments; and the mantles, and the purses;  the mirrors and the fine linen; and the turbans and the veils.  And it shall be, instead of a smell of perfume,...

Diversity

Even in a rural state like Montana, recently there is an ongoing push to pass legislation that would further expand non discrimination policies against lesbians, gays and transgenders.  The argument behind passing such legislation is that it would “signal to businesses that Montana is open for business to corporations who value diversity and inclusion.”  This type of legislation has been tried several times before and likely it will fail again, only to be reintroduced and reintroduced until it is finally passed.   Hardly can a Believer be safe from such headlines entering our homes.  Most recently President Trump undid Obama’s transgender bathroom policy for public schools, making it a state issue instead of a federal issue.  This in turn caused the Supreme Court to drop the case that they were going to hear that could’ve had ramifications for those states that refuse to follow such nonsense.  While I sincerely wish that such things were not dinner table topics or being constantly pushed by the mainstream media and the deviants who are trying to hasten America’s immorality, there is a point to be made about diversity.   What does the Holy Scriptures say about God’s thoughts on diversity?  Surprisingly the answer is quite simple.   “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many entering in through it.  Because narrow is the gate and distressing is the way which leads unto life, and there are few who find it.  Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. ...

Intolerant

“And they said, There is no hope; but we will walk after our own thoughts, and we will each one do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.”  Jeremiah 18:12   “For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is clearly recognized by them, for God has revealed it to them.  For ever since the creation of the world the unseen things of Him are clearly perceived, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they know God, they do not glorify Him as God, nor are thankful, but become vain in their reasonings, and their stupid hearts are darkened.  Professing to be wise, they become foolish, and change the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.  Therefore God also gives them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who change the truth of God into the lie, and fear and serve the created things more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.  For this reason God gives them up to vile passions. For even their women change the natural use for what is contrary to nature.  Likewise also the men, abandoning the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men performing what is shameful, and receiving the retribution within themselves, the penalty which...

They Choose Death

“Say to them: As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, I take no delight in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways!”…  Ezekiel 33:11a   The other day with great anticipation I was watching the Wikileaks press release, during the middle of the night.  Joining many others watching, it had been rumored that there would be a leak by Julian Assange that would essentially end Hillary Clinton’s campaign.  I watched the intro and half-way listened to the speakers, finally giving up on waiting for an announcement after about 45 minutes and retiring to bed for the night.  It wouldn’t be until the next morning that I would check and the rumors about documents that would ruin Clinton’s campaign were unfounded.  During the time I had been watching the live feed to the press conference in Germany, I noticed that there was a comment section running on the YouTube page.   This feed was full of mostly anti-Clinton viewers, also eagerly awaiting some leaked revelation that would end her campaign.  With over 50 thousand people watching live, the amount of comments coming across on the side of the live feed was staggering, scrolling so fast that I could only read a comment or two, before the rest of them were buried by new comments.  My concern was raised as to how many of these from the anti-establishment movement comments were perverse, twisted and evil.  Would God grant them freedom from a society where the strong arm of the establishment seemingly presses upon them continuously?    The...

They Took The Bait

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.”  2nd Timothy 3:1-5   “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads the whole world astray; he was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”  Revelation 12:9   It’s high noon in any city in America, lunch is being served at restaurants throughout the town.  Walk into any hip joint and you will observe a vast majority of occupants, whether alone at a table or with others, staring at a phone with a blank expression on their face.  Most, if you were to approach, are keeping up with their social media contacts throughout the day.   Walk into nearly any American home and observe the television flickering as programming is displayed on the large screen.  Whether there are actively people watching the shows or the television is just being used for background noise, it is on, in most homes over 40 hours per week.   Drive on the highway, particularly on a hot summer day with your window down and at a stop light you can hear the noise of the radios blaring with a variety of tunes, many coming off of a connected phone.   ...
