Already Won

“So when Jesus had received the vinegar, He said, It has been finished! And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”  John 19:30   “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction; but be of good courage, I have overcome the world.”  John 16:33   “In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in immersion, in which you also were raised with Him through the faith of the working of God, who raised Him out from the dead.  And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross; having disarmed rulers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”  Colossians 2:11-15   There is a lot that could be said about this pandemic and the responses of not only the United States government, but governments all around the world.  I’ve heard many arguments and have spent much time thinking on the matter.  However, I will leave the debates as to what wise choices are regarding a new way to die in a world full of death (Heb. 9:27).    One thing I do know is it is now abundantly clear that...

His Glorious Appearing

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live with sound mind, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify a people for His own possession, zealous unto good works.”  Titus 2:11-14   There has been much debate regarding the Rapture, which could be better termed His Glorious Appearing.  There are even many pastors who sit on the fence, not knowing whether or not His Glorious Appearing is pre-tribulation or post-tribulation.  Yet the Bible is quite clear and common sense should prevail that the Rapture will happen prior to the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), better known as the Tribulation.   The purpose in this chapter is not to just provide the evidence of the pre-trib Rapture being a sound doctrine, but also to provide needed information for those souls who will read such things, after having been Left Behind.  For those whom God allows to be deluded by the Strong Delusion, what can be done?  There opportunity for Salvation is prior to the Rapture and if they are those whom God is allowing to believe the lie (2 Thes. 2:11), after the Rapture, then their fate is sealed (Rev. 20:15).   Consider the following verses:   “And none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.”  Daniel 12:10b   “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, Father,...

President Trump – A Perfect Example

“And then the lawless one will be unveiled, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.  The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,  and with all unrighteous deception among those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”  2nd Thessalonians 2:8-12   “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of Heaven, but My Father only.  But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and did not realize until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  Then two will be in the field: one is taken and the other is left.  Two will be grinding at the mill: one is taken and the other is left.  Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.  But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief comes, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be dug through. ...

A Grand Delusion?

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He is now restraining, until it is raised from out of the midst.  And then the lawless one will be unveiled, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.  The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”  2nd Thessalonians 2:7-12   There is much writing that has been done over the years regarding the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), known better by many as the Tribulation or the Great Tribulation.  In fact the Bible talks about this being a time of great affliction.   “For then there will be great affliction, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”  Matthew 24:21   “And I said to him, Sir, you know. So he said to me, These are the ones coming out of great affliction, and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”  Revelation 7:14   “And at that time, Michael shall stand up, the great ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a...

The Antichrist

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is unveiled, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is honored, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, declaring of himself that he is God.  Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?  And now you know what is restraining, that he may be unveiled in his own time.  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He is now restraining, until it is raised from out of the midst. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”  2nd Thessalonians 2:3-12   In this late hour there should be some preaching about the Rapture, the Antichrist, the Tribulation (“time of Jacob’s trouble” Jer. 30:7), the Two Witnesses, the False Prophet, as well as the Great White Throne Judgment, where whoever has not repented...

Peace?

“Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying, Peace! when there is no peace; and one builds a wall, and plasters it with whitewash.”  Ezekiel 13:10   While this verse is discussing Israel, the similarities with what is going on with the North Korean situation seems interesting.  Is peace coming or is this peace that we assume is there in all reality a rouse of things to come?   “And also through his cunning he will cause deceit to prosper in his hand. And he will magnify himself in his heart, and through prosperity shall destroy many.”  Daniel 8:25a VW-Edition   “And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many:”  Daniel 8:25a KJV   While this verse is regarding the Antichrist, take a note how through peace he destroys many.  How can destruction come through peace or prosperity?  I had never taken much into those verses, regarding the schematics of how such a thing could occur, but perhaps some insight into the current North Korean situation might show how supposed peace might destroy many.    North Korea is a major threat to not only the United States, but especially to South Korea and Japan.  They have also threatened the UK, as well as Australia and perhaps others??? When President Donald Trump crossed over the DMZ and shook hands with Kim Yong-un, this was certainly history in the making.  When there was the first peace summit, the nominations should have been coming in for the Nobel Peace prize, for indeed...
