“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavenlies.” Ephesians 6:12 There is a lot going on nowadays in regards to the political landscape in the United States. A lot of happenings, a so-called impeachment inquiry has begun and as secret hearings are being held in the basement of the Capital building, there are a lot of people who are watching this ordeal with President Trump play out across the world. On one hand the leftist are happy and assume that President Trump will be impeached, even Vice President Pence, leaving Nancy Pelosi as the President. There are theories out there that Nancy Pelosi might just hand it off to Hillary Clinton, under the guise that she should have won the election anyway. The Russian ordeal, though debunked as totally fake is still alive and well in the minds of the enemies of President Trump. There is also the theory that President Trump might simply be impeached in the House, but will never be impeached in the Senate. The assumption is that the votes in the Senate are not there, and they likely are not. Then there is also the theory that this will just continue on all the way until the actual election, the democrats being so desperate, as they do not have a front runner candidate that stands a shot at beating President Trump anyway. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6a “Behold, is it not of Jehovah of Hosts that the people labor only to feed the fire, and nations weary themselves only for vanity.” Habakkuk 2:13 The other day I noticed a click-bait advertisement for photos of life in the 1950’s. Knowing history in the United States fairly well, I decided to see what exactly they were trying to push with such an article. While going through it, I noticed that they spent some time discussing how easy it was for a one income family back in the 1950’s to purchase a home and pay it off. Now my family history has an oddity to it, as my father was much older than the average father. So for many years, until his death, I heard of stories of how things worked back when he was young. Growing up in northern Michigan, I also got my hands on a book about the Hedrick family of Harbor Springs, who offered a very good first hand account of the early settler days in that region of the state. While that was in the late 1800’s, still the accounts of everyday life for the average person was somewhat similar. At 40 years old, I have had discussions with my friends for many years regarding the cost of living, verses trying to carve out a niche in the world. All Will Stand is comitted to helping spread the Gospel throughout the world, wherever and whenever possible. The people of Venezuela have been long suffering under a terrible economic crash that has caused a once great Latin American country to all but fail. Our heart goes out to those who are in Venezuela and our prays are with those who are true Christians, working to spread the Gospel amongst their fellow citizens. Given the circumstances, the Lord laid it upon my heart to seek out those who are truly doing His work and provide economic support during these troubled times in Venezuela. Thus Project Venezuela was created, a missions based portion of All Will Stand to provide aid to those who are true Christians to assist them in their endeavors.
