The Curse

“Behold, Jehovah empties the earth and makes it bare, and distorts its face, and scatters its inhabitants.  And as it is with the people, so it shall be with the priest; as with the servant, so with the master; as with the maid, so it is with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.  The land shall be completely emptied, and utterly plundered; for Jehovah has spoken this Word.  The earth mourns and fades away; the world droops and fades away; the haughty people of the earth grow feeble.  The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and have broken the perpetual covenant.  Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are held guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left. The new wine mourns, the vine droops, all the merry-hearted sigh.  The mirth of the tambourines ceases; the tumult of the jubilant ends; the joy of the harp ceases.  They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.  The city of emptiness is broken down; every house is shut up so that no one may come in.  There is a cry for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land has gone.  Desolation is left in the city, and the gate is battered and destroyed.  For so it is in the midst of the land among...

Smoking or Non-Smoking?

“So I said, Who are You, Sir? And He said, I am Jesus, whom you persecute.  But arise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things in which I will appear to you.  I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”  Acts 26:15-18   “There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end of it is the ways of death.”  Proverbs 14:12   “And many of those sleeping in the earth’s dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting abhorrence.”  Daniel 12:2   Recently an article published called The Back of the Bus went over the segregation of those who are vaccinated or not.  It seems good for me to once again touch on this topic, as it is a relevant object lesson regarding individuals and their eternity.    Without searching out such things, I found a couple of news items that pushed this vaccine segregation even further than I would have imagined would have happened.  The first was from my current home state, Michigan, where it was double-downed that vaccinated people do not have to wear masks in the workplace.    While this...

The Back of the Bus

“Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you fear the gods; for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your devotion, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One to whom you show reverence without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of Heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.  Nor is He served with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.  And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell everywhere on the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as also some of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.  Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine is like gold or silver or stone, something engraved by art and man’s devising.  Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has established a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has appointed. He has given assurance of this...

Awake Unto Righteousness

“Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak to your shame.”  1st Corinthians 15:34   There is a term that goes around nowadays called ‘woke’.  Everything is being questioned and supposedly new ideas are being interjected into the ‘old way of thinking’.  For instance, the other day I read a brief article describing how some believe that automatic soap dispensers are a cause of systemic racism.  Why?   Well apparently they do not ‘see’ the hands of those with darker colored pigment skin, as well as from another, forces ‘black and brown bodies’ to show their palms.  While this might be an extreme example (after all isn’t all of it extreme anyway), nonetheless it is quite simple that these automatic soap dispensers sense anyone’s hands, man or woman, black or white, make’s no difference whatsoever.  So it is a baseless claim, but nonetheless shows the characteristics of how anything that can garner any amount of ‘sense’ by such people who are looking for evidence of supposed wrongdoing can pretty much find such ‘evidence’ anywhere.   Things have been getting worse and worse in the United States, as well as around the world, for quite some time.  This is not something that has just happened overnight, but has been ongoing for numerous decades.  However, in the past several years there has really been a ramping up of trying to ignore God’s clear Word regarding certain things in regards to man’s opinion.  One can not scoff at God or His Word.   “Do not be led astray, God is not mocked;...

Do They Know?

“Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your calamities that are coming upon you.  Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.  Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days.  Indeed the wages of the laborers who reaped your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts.  You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter.  You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.  Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.  You also be patient. Make your hearts firm, for the coming of the Lord draws near.  Do not grumble against one another, brethren, that you not be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands at the door.”  Jacob (James) 5:1-9   “After these things I looked, and behold, a door having been opened in Heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after these things.”  Revelation 4:1   Things are quite strange, they have been and it appears that they will continue that way.  Originally when a pandemic was first declared the grocery store...

Going Up

“Who knows the spirit of man that goes upward, and the spirit of the beast that goes downward to the earth?”  Ecclesiastes 3:21   “For affliction does not come forth from the dust, nor does trouble spring up out of the ground; yet man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward.”  Job 5:6-7   “And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come and see. So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”  Revelation 6:5-6   “For the kingdom of Heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.  And when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.  And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and said to them, You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you. So they went.  Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise.  And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, Why do you stand here idle all day?  They said to him, Because no one hired us. He said to them, You also go...

What’s Your Excuse?

“And when He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.  For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?  Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”  Mark 8:34-37   “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”  Philippians 2:9-11   There is a reality, a true reality that is more important than anything else and is for each individual.  We are born and whether or not we see it as imminent, each one of us will eventually die, except for that generation of Believers who are on the face of the earth when the Rapture happens (1 Thes. 4:13-18; Titus 2:13).   We all start off going through life doing our own thing.  We pick up our own set of morals, based upon many influences.  We make friends, we have our family members, we get jobs or do a host of other things, yet what about God?  Can we go through life maybe going to...

A Sampling

“Woe to those who desire the day of Jehovah! Of what good is this to you? The day of Jehovah is darkness, and not light.  It is as if a man fled before a lion, and a bear met him. Or he goes into the house and leans his hand against the wall, and a snake bites him.  Is not the day of Jehovah darkness, and not light; even very dark, and not any brightness in it?”  Amos 5:18-20   Once more I want to address how the events in the world in the past year provide a sampling of what is prophesized to come.  As the Lord leads, I believe different types of topics will be addressed in the near future, yet I have had a burden for some time to address this issue and will now address it.   The seriousness of the situation in regards to the sinful world cannot be understated.  While there is a wide variety of opinions out there regarding the future or current events, as with discussing anything of a political nature, understand that there are also certain truths that can be had regarding the world having experienced a sampling of oppression and governmental control.   On a personal level, I ponder the common sense of the lockdowns and restrictions that have been placed on people around the world, I also do not forget the changing of the rhetoric that was told to us throughout the past year.  When one looks at facts, not fake science or misused data, COVID-19 certainly is simply another unfortunate way to die.    Recently I read...

All Will Stand’s Twitter Account

“Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? ”  Galatians 4:6   For awhile it seems that All Will Stand’s Twitter account has been shadowbanned.  Now today after posting links to articles the other day and relogging it, it has become apparent that the full force of big tech censorship has been wielded against the account.  Nonetheless, it will stand, as long as it is allowed, as a testimony on Twitter’s website, though nothing new will be posted as the value in doing so seems to be nominal.    Folks we live in dangerous times for you to be playing around with your soul’s eternal destination.  If there was ever a time in history to be ‘watching and ready’ as the Bible proclaims, now is that time!  Are you wondering about how to be Saved?  Do you ponder if you are Saved?  Have you repented and by faith believed into Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?  If you are not sure, please visit the Salvation page (also available in Spanish via the link in the upper right hand corner).    Do not postpone doing this!   ” For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. ”  2nd Corinthians...

Repent!

“Jesus said, I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”  Luke 13:3   “And He said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins be preached in His name to all nations, beginning out of Jerusalem.”  Luke 24:46-47   There are churches all over from coast to coast of this country.  Numerous different denominations, tons of different viewpoints on the Bible, where does one turn?  What can be a test to see if these churches are biblical and truly have a pastor who is Saved and called by God to preach?    Doctrine is important, very important.  There are numerous errors found throughout nearly every church across the United States, some more obvious than others.  Some churches have some doctrines correct, others have other ones correct.  While I am not speculating that anyone would find an absolutely perfect Church, the harsh reality is that a church where a biblical Salvation message is not preached, could simply not make sense regarding of how they are following Christ and adhering to doctrine.   The Bible is quite clear on doctrine and also provides some warnings to Believers regarding to check into what they hear, as well at times to go elsewhere, should you find yourself in the midst of wolves, or as often happens, a church changes slowly, becoming apostate (Rev. 18:4).   “Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.”  1st Timothy 4:13   “Take heed to yourself...

The End is Near

“Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ Jesus.”  Colossians 1:28   “And I will bring distress upon men, and they shall walk like the blind, because they have sinned against Jehovah. And their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh like dung.”  Zephaniah 1:17   What happened to those who used to hold up signs in our big cities declaring that ‘the end is near’?  Movies on occasion used to add such things, often a ridicule to those who would be presumed to be mentally unstable.  Yet has not the Word of God proclaimed that the end will eventually come?   “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. ”  Matthew 24:14   Well there are two ‘ends’ to be precise.  There is the Rapture, which is the end of the Church age and then there is the end, which is the end of the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), better known as the Tribulation.  Even then we could argue the Millennial reign, etc., but our job as Believers is the warn people to repent and believe the Gospel.    …”testifying both to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”  Acts 20:21   “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has established a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by...

A Day’s Wages

“And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come and see. So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”  Revelation 6:5-6   “And when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.”  Matthew 20:2   There are many places in the world where men will work for daily food and the most basic housing.  Oftentimes there simply is not enough money to provide adequate nutrition, education, clothing and suitable housing.  Yet in many countries the opposite is true.    While there are many who complain about the unfairness of the world economic system, in many countries adequate food can be obtained, as well as a better quality of the necessities that each individual desires.  Then there are countries like the United States, large portions of Europe, portions of Asia, Australia and Canada where food only becomes a lack of choice, due to finances, not a lack of availability.    As an American, understanding the system well, the focus will be with the United States in mind regarding this prophecy that will be fulfilled during the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), which will begin after the Rapture (1 Thes. 4:16-17).    Reflecting about the global pandemic, as well as now a rumor...

Intolerance Towards God

“For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is clearly recognized by them, for God has revealed it to them.  For ever since the creation of the world the unseen things of Him are clearly perceived, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they know God, they do not glorify Him as God, nor are thankful, but become vain in their reasonings, and their stupid hearts are darkened.  Professing to be wise, they become foolish, and change the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.  Therefore God also gives them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who change the truth of God into the lie, and fear and serve the created things more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.  For this reason God gives them up to vile passions. For even their women change the natural use for what is contrary to nature.  Likewise also the men, abandoning the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men performing what is shameful, and receiving the retribution within themselves, the penalty which is fitting for their error.  And even as they do not like to have God in their full true knowledge, God gives them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things...

We All Die

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, without sin, unto salvation.”  Hebrews 9:27-28   “And many of those sleeping in the earth’s dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting abhorrence.”  Daniel 12:2   “And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.  And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works.  And Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.  And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”  Revelation 20:11-15   One can make many observations, especially as one gets older in regards to the consequences of sin.  Many reflections can an individual have on his or her life, let alone see the scars of sin on our society in general.    The other day I stopped at a roadside park with a nice...

Be Vigilant

“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be like men, be strong.”  1st Corinthians 16:13   “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”  1st Peter 5:8   vigilant   Watchful; circumspect; attentive to discover and avoid danger or to provide for safety; wary.   Webster’s Universities Dictionary of the English Language, 1942   This article is written with a perspective for those who believe in God, but yet have not repented (Ac. 17:30-31) and by faith believed into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Ro. 10:8-10), as well as those who are truly Christians.  For many of the first category they will assume that they are Believers, but they are deceived (Ac. 4:12).   I have a keen interest in the world we live in and enjoy getting some perspectives on day to day life in other parts of the world.  The other day I managed to find a series of documentaries on road conditions throughout a variety of places around the world, dangerous roads.    Over the course of a few days I had watched a glimpse of life in Nepal, Peru, Madagascar and the Colombian/Venezuelan border.  Throughout the documentary, these people who would accept rides on a bus, a jeep or whatever vehicle was available for hire, there was a sliver of reality into their daily lives.  There was also some similarities, even though these areas of the world are in the fringes of their respective countries, as well as thousands of miles apart.   For one, just like the current so-called protests in...
