Frailties

“Nevertheless man, though precious, does not remain; he is like the animals that perish. This way of theirs is their folly; yet those who follow delight in their sayings. Selah.  Like sheep they are appointed to the grave; death shall shepherd them, and the upright shall have the rule over them in the morning; their form is consumed; Sheol is their home.”  Psalms 49:12-14   The situation for many people in Puerto Rico is dire, but as help slowly pours in, it allows us to reflect upon the frailties of mankind.  In a modern day age, one would presume that the seemingly all powerful governments, particularly the United States government, would be most able to provide swift and abundant aid to a natural disaster in one of our held territories.  While aid is certainly pouring in, the amount of destruction that hurricane Maria caused makes this task a slow and for some a deadly game of trying to wait for help to arrive.   When the infrastructure of an area is all but destroyed, roads are washed away and people are left in areas that are no longer accessible by road, far from the major cities, the truth of the matter becomes known to those who experience such disasters first hand.  Mankind is not able to immediately offer assistance to those who are in need, yet cutoff from the rest of the world.  People begin dying, the suffering for some surpasses what their families have seen throughout many generations.  The frailties of our manmade systems of electricity, food, water, cellular and phone service, roads and medical care become exposed. ...

Willfully Ignorant

“This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the emptiness of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to licentiousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”  Ephesians 4:17-19   There are some who like to use the term ‘entertained to death’ and there is truth to such a notion.  All around the world, not just in the United States, there are large problems that have formed.  The cracks of our world governmental systems are starting to show their weaknesses, the ugly truth is starting to rear it’s head.  In America we have a society where information is at our fingertips.    Never before in the history of the world has the access to knowledge been so readily available to the average citizen.  While there are still the things that go on in backrooms of corporations and our governments, that have yet to seen the light of day, we can easily see the writing on the wall that not all is well.  The assumption for most is that somehow our ails of our societies will fix these issues eventually.  Yet, do we not consider that the only person who might offer the ultimate solution would be the Antichrist?   Hour after hour Americans sideswipe their responsibility as citizens to ensure the government is adhering to its constitutional boundaries.  Day after day many around the world in civilized...

Is it Finally the End?

Numerous news reports about the devastating fires in California had quotes from first hand accounts of people involved who thought that perhaps the end had come or that Armageddon was ongoing.  There were people who took photos that made their rounds across the globe in the media regarding how California’s Disneyland looked liked a scene from Hell.   There were those who were thinking and saying the same thing when Harvey hit Texas, when Irma hit tropical islands, etc.  They thought perhaps the end was upon them, as devastation appeared on all sides around them, as far as they could see.  In one case there were people begging for God to make the rain stop from Harvey, as the nonstop rain became the biggest rain event in the continental United States recorded history.    All of these terrible disasters the United States has been experiencing are just a drop in the bucket of similar events that have been taking place around the world.  Unfortunately many in America hold an attitude of such self worth that they care little about floods in Asia or terrifying events in India.  A point-in-case would be an attitude regarding a potential North Korean & United States war, where the talking point of many is sacrificing Seoul in South Korea is better than it coming to our homeland.  In other words, millions dying ‘over there’ is a small price to pay.    Our country is being destroyed slowly by disasters that are costing tens of billions of dollars in damage EACH.  While we have the advantage of holding the world reserve currency that is backed...

Psalms Walk-Thru #02

Who is the man whom God will have regard towards?  Those who truly follow the Lord and whose heart’s delight is in following Him. (Ps. 1:1-3)    “For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.”  Psalms 1:6   When one diligently considers the things of God, truly is a Believer and seeks to follow the Lord with all of their heart, then that individual can be confident that their footsteps are guarded, according to His will.  (Psalms 37:24)   Where are those who are doing as the Lord pleases?  The world continues to promote evil, walking contrary to their Creator.  Yet the Lord knows those who are His (2 Tim. 2:9) and He delights in those who do His will.  (Ps. 147:11)   I’ve considered that we now live in a time where there are only a few (Mt. 7:14) who are truly doing as they should.  I’ve pondered whether or not there will be a great repentance of our nation or another nation around the world.  Will America repent?  Will a different country?  Why are there so few who seem to truly follow after God?  Why are the churches that are pleasing to Him, far and few in between?  Why has man forsaken the Way (Jn. 14:6) and turned aside to lies?  They desire to have it that way!   “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, desiring to hear pleasant things, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth,...

What about the unanswered questions about healthcare insurance?

Healthcare is something that is important to most Americans.  The younger generation often will ignore purchasing health insurance, with the assumption that they don’t need it, usually they are correct.  However for many families and individuals throughout America, there is a growing concern regarding the future of the health care system in the United States.  All the time healthcare is in the news, as Americans watch in horror as their elected officials seem to be unable to permanently solve the problem.   Both sides of the political spectrum has opinions on how to solve the crisis, yet there is not enough support on any one side to actually seem to provide a long term solution.  What is the problem?  Namely cost.   The affordable healthcare that was touted years ago has become unaffordable.  In fact the premiums were rising, as well as the deductibles even before Obamacare passed.  Yet no one asked why.  Constantly it was simply a solution presented by political parties in the United States to restructure the health insurance, supposedly in order to keep the cost down and provide health insurance, through mandates, to everyone in the United States.  What happened?  The prices continued to skyrocket, some citizens were left with no health insurance choice -at all- in their health exchanges, as well as masses of people simply didn’t comply with the mandate.  On top of that employers reduced those who were already near poverty to even worse by reducing their hours to 28 or fewer, in order to not have to comply with the employer mandate.  Now the debate rages on in Congress on just...

Psalms Walk-Thru, #01 Intro

We are going to take some time to go through the Book of Psalms, if the Lord doesn’t Rapture (1st Cor. 15:51-52) us out of here first.  While I do not like to necessarily have a favorite book of the Bible, as the whole word of God is profitable for learning (2 Tim. 3:16), Psalms has a special place in my heart, where the Lord has given me some real life applications.  A lot of people wouldn’t look to Psalms for doctrine, but Psalms is in reality part of the Holy Scriptures and full of useful doctrine that correlates with the rest of the Bible (Pr. 30:5).    Take a look at how grim things look for our country, how many more disasters are we going to see?  Already we have had devastating hurricanes, flooding, wildfires & what is next?  As the people of our nation continue to rebel against their Creator, I don’t expect that we will see an end to these types of events (Is. 1:21-23).  Too many problems are on the horizon, political problems, an American debt problem, both for our country and the citizens who also hold too much of a burden of debt, as well as looming threats of war, where in all reality millions of our citizens lives hang in the balance, should such a scenario unfold.  People are so concerned about healthcare, financial ‘fitness’, making ends meet, the things of this world, that they are not even contemplating the things of God (Mt. 6:33)  This is dangerous, for when their life is over, who are they going to stand before?  God Almighty. ...

Paul F. Becker – www.a-voice.org

I received a phone call today about the passing of Paul F. Becker.  Paul Becker, from Spokane, Washington, went Home to be with the Lord, whom he faithfully served for years with the A Voice in the Wilderness ministry.  His website was www.a-voice.org and is truly a testimony of a man who sought to clearly make the paths of the Lord straight for the entire world to read.  God took care of Paul Becker throughout his lifetime and as a dear friend, he will be greatly missed.  Yet for those who know the Lord, truly one day my friend will be seen again.  We live in a dark era, but his website is still a library of God’s truth shining in an otherwise dark world.   2023 Update: A Backup Website Has Been Created To Download A CD Of The Former Website www.a-voice.net.  ...

Atrocities

This is being written as hurricane Irma is churning out in the Atlantic, with hurricane Harvey in people’s minds, the perceived threat as to what will occur is yet unknown.  Historically hurricanes on that path often hit Florida OR turn and go to the North Atlantic, hitting no one.  Yet as this is also being written, smoke continues to fill the skies in Kalispell, Montana on a daily basis.   The Los Angeles area has the La Tuna wildfire, which is the biggest ever recorded in the area.  With Montana’s ‘flash drought’ we continue to get very little rain and still unseasonable warm weather.  Just a little spark and another wildfire will appear somewhere, this with thunderstorms forecast in a few days.  As the flood waters from Houston are drying up, people are starting to speculate that this is either God’s judgment or considering that somehow this is pointing to a major end times event.  Of course these who ponder the later, are in every case I see, those who also purport that there will be no Rapture or it will be at the end of the Tribulation (“time of Jacob’s trouble” Jer. 30:7).    Well I can’t speak on behalf of God and neither can they, unless God has truly given them some insight.  Sure these are interesting times that we live in, but these are times where instead of people looking and presuming that God is going to come in and ‘fix’ all of man’s woes, they should be looking at fixing their hearts before our Creator, before it is too late.  As I watch these things...

What will you do?

The nation awoke last week to a devastating hurricane that literally ended up zeroing in on Houston with huge amounts of rainfalls.  I downloaded a rain map that showed Houston as ground zero for the rain.  Then, the now tropical storm, backed up into the Gulf of Mexico and landed in southeast Texas, dropping 25 more inches of rain in a day, totally flooding cities.   When that happened there were a bunch of headlines on the news, but the one that really caught my eye was how the rain was called punishing and there was a quote from a resident begging God to have it stop raining.  The event was terrible and now people are more cautiously eyeing the other storms that are heading towards the United States.  The amount of rain that was dropped in Houston set a record for rainfall in the contiguous United States, never had that much been recorded out of one event…never.   Who is to blame?  Is it simply chance, after all Houston had those reservoirs for a reason, they had been flooded before, in fact a different storm years ago had dropped just a couple of inches less rain.  Was it God’s judgment?  Some speculate so.  What about utilizing HAARP or other technology to weaponize the storm, to cause President Trump a crisis?  There are those who are pushing this theory also.  Around the same time 1,200 people died in a flood in Asia, but we as Americans simply brush that off.   “You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.  But I...

Intelligence

Recently, out of boredom, I took an IQ test.  To the best of my recollection, the test results came in right around the same as one I had taken years ago, near 120.  I pondered this, wondering where these supposed standards come from.    Did the world’s smartest man create the IQ test?  What is logic?  What standards are used to measure presumed intelligence?  What is intelligence?  Why is it so many intelligent people are against their Creator?    Recently I had a conversation with a pastor regarding biblical Salvation.  The pastor appeared to be spot on and seemed to have a true zeal towards God.  Our conversation changed to discussing the Flood and Creation.  In that conversation the pastor left open the possibility of a gap theory, while still holding to six literal days of Creation.  While he didn’t affirm that it was so, he also did not affirm that it was not.  After our conversation I pondered whether or not it was acceptable as a Believer to allow any sort of compromise regarding the allowance of a gap theory into what the Bible actually teaches.   As I was pondering this we made our way to another building where there was a display of rare rocks and minerals.  Having a keen interest in rock hounding, I quickly found myself in a conversation with a gentlemen behind the table regarding their collection.  I noted that some of the local rocks that he had collected, I also had in my possession at home.  He began to explain that those rocks were pre-algae.  At first I avoided any confrontation regarding...

Unrepentant

Our national anthem declares that “In God is our trust“.  The lyrics of America the Beautiful declares that “God shed his grace on thee“.  If we were a newly founded country would either of these terms be allowed with all of the liberal anti God mentality that is out there.  I’m sure our country would have to come up with songs that would include everyone’s beliefs and the only people whom it could be offensive too would be true Believers, of whom probably very few would actually take offense.   “Remember the Word that I said to you, A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My Word, they will keep yours also.”  John 15:20   America consistently is heading in a direction that is contrary to God.  This has been going on for quite some time, in fact out west, in places like Montana, there certainly was lawlessness back in the foundation and afterwards of this state, but those who were about to be hung for their crimes would still often confess that they were indeed guilty before their Creator.  Even though their sins had been found out, they were guilty, they had done evil, the point is they still knew that they would stand before their Creator, guilty.  Nowadays America is like a prostitute who does wrong, but in her own eyes she has not committed evil.   “This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no wickedness.”  Proverbs 30:20   Does America still...

What’s Different this Time?

I’ve always been keen on the news, especially when it comes to deciphering the truth of what is going on in the world.  Fake news is not a new concept to All Will Stand.  Originally I was part of a website with Brandon that was in its infancy in creating real news article.  Back then, in 2011, we didn’t call it fake news, but rather just knew that oftentimes there was more to a story, a different side, then what was being bombarded on the television screens and newspaper articles across the United States.   The rise of alternative news was growing quickly back then as patriots were providing articles, radio programs and videos about what was really going on.  This time things are different when it comes to North Korea, while there are certainly much more to learn about the regime via alternative outlets, the mainstream media is telling the truth regarding North Korea’s ability to hit the United States mainland with nuclear weapons, the only differing points is whether they have the ability to hit the entire continental United States or from the west coast all the way to Chicago.    Kim Yong-un, North Korea’s dictator, has been saying for quite some time that he could hit the mainland, the United States shrugged off this idea and it was presumed that eventually, if not stopped, he would be able to.  With this thought many Americans happily went along with the idea of trying to stop North Korea from getting the advanced technology to hit the United States with nuclear weapons, either diplomatically or military.  Well now that...

Freedom

Recently I was reminded of the struggles of people during the Soviet Union.  The oppression of those who wished to actually serve God according to the Holy Scriptures and preach what the Holy Spirit had led them to preach was quite staggering.  In the Soviet Union each sermon had to be approved by the state, any swaying from that could lead to immediate trouble.   The Soviet Union was not alone in this regard, even with the fall of the Soviet Union, now Putin has reinstated laws that require a Christian to be licensed in order to hand out religious literature or witness to another person.  Everything must be within the organized religions setup within Russia.  However, China is much more repressive than Russia is, with a strong underground Church movement.   “We ought to obey God rather than men.”  Acts 5:29b   In any country were there is oppression against Believers, understand that many people are carted off to prisons, camps or put into mental institutions, some will die, others will be maimed or permanently damaged.  Those who are arrested for such offenses know that it is worthy to be in trouble for the cause of following the Lord.  They realize that suffering persecution is part of being a Believer.   “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before you.  If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.  Remember the Word that I said to you, A servant...

Forgetfulness

“And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt so with us, to bring us up out of Egypt?  Was this not the word we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”  Exodus 14:11-12   If it has been awhile or if you have never read it before, take a few minutes to read Exodus 5-12.    God has just shown Himself to the tribes of Israel in Egypt.  Not only that of Israel, but to those who were Egyptians it was also apparent that they were dealing with God.   “And the hail struck throughout the whole land of Egypt, all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail struck every plant of the field and shattered every tree of the field.  Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail.”  Exodus 9:25-26   “And Pharaoh’s servants said to him, How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve Jehovah their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt has vanished?”  Exodus 10:7   There was a clear distinguishing between the Egyptians and the Israelites, even Pharaoh’s servants recognized this.  So as God had said, they are finally not only allowed to leave and serve Jehovah, but after the Passover they are being asked to...

They Didn’t Make It

“Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were pleasing; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.  And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not continually strive with man, for indeed it is in flesh to sin; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.  There were giants on the earth in those days. And also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them, these were the mighty men from antiquity, men of renown.  And Jehovah saw that the evil of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all day long.  And Jehovah regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved to His heart.  And Jehovah said, I will obliterate man whom I have created from off the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and flying creatures of the heavens, for I regret having made them.  But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.  These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generation. Noah walked with God.  And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.  The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.  And God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way...
