Seems like that early in 2024, this book is looking to be very well likely to be useful to some. Unlike other books about finances, even Christian books, this book doesn’t tell you how to get out of debt, how to save for retirement, pay for college, etc., in fact I would be a very poor example of providing information on some of those things and there are already those who have written such books. What the focus of this book is, is simply this: to point the readers to understand biblical principles of finances, things that they then can use to make a decision, before God, based upon personal direction, prayer, as well as the foundations of biblical advice, avoiding the snares that come upon doing things that are contrary to the Bible’s way, which is the correct way. “And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field!” 1st Samuel 17:44 Here is David about ready to begin the battle against Goliath. Please read about it in 1st Samuel 17:19-58. This story was well known by most adults until the past generation or so. Nearly every child was taught about David verses Goliath and there are still references made to this day regarding this famous passage of the Holy Scriptures, where David slew Goliath by faith, trusting in the Lord. Yet how many of those churches that do still proclaim these things, as factual, actually believe it in their heart or even understand it? Now one problem is many who are professing Christians are indeed not truly Saved, some are deceived (Romans 9:6), others are simply pretenders (Acts 20:29). In fact, even those who do believe such things, how many really understand it? Oh…they can ‘sing’ about David, as the others sung about him after his victorious battle (1 Samuel 18:6-7); (the battle was truly Jehovah’s (1 Samuel 17:47)). The reality is most so-called professing Christians would turn tail and run, most likely never allowing themselves to be in that position. —Simply posting this here as well, just something to ponder, something that anyone digesting a lot of internet news will run across frequently — Where is the balance for a Christian, patriot and simply citizen of the United States of America trying to raise a family in these times? While I subscribed years ago, this fall I unsubscribed from everthing everywhere as I pondered going forward what to do. So recently I decided that you were one of two email news that I would sign up, the most respectful and honest, in my opinion. Yet the week in review that had 4 articles relating to topics of sexual perversion, three of them about transgenders, is simply too much for me. This is exactly the problem, our enemy, let’s for the sake of argument call them the ‘left’ are still FORCING us to have these thoughts in our heads, conversations with our mouths and defend CONSISTENTLY that what we know is true. For God has stated that He created them male and female and God has stated that we are to avoid sexual perversions (Taylor Swift article). However He has also stated to ‘think on these things’, which are those things which are opposite of these articles, as well as to avoid evil communication. So how then can we do both? Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2nd Corinthians 6:2 I have just a couple of pounds that I have put on during this South Dakotan winter, nothing too big of a deal, but I have been meaning to take care of it, suffer a bit, eat a little bit more restricted and then lose that extra weight. If I continued on the weight gain trajectory, eventually it would become a problem. So today I have been doing fairly well, a few extra potato chips, but nothing major. Yesterday, I decided to postpone what I am doing today, I am the usual chef of the house and had made some buckwheat blueberry pancakes, hadn’t had those in quite some time, so I enjoyed a stack as well. A couple of days before I had whipped up some spaghetti and before that it was some pesto, hamburger, noodle mix. Each of those times, no big deal, I’ll just ‘deal with it tomorrow’. Well the problem is tomorrow never comes if we don’t take a stand to say, ‘this is what I am going to accomplish, I am no longer going to put it off’. Unfortunately just how many people who are unsaved postpone Salvation? Transhumanism is certainly not something that I had kept up with and certainly not something I would continuously follow, but this is an issue that must be addressed and looked at in relation to God’s Word the Bible, so that the light of His truth might shine upon these things that are quickly happening behind the scenes with very powerful individuals in charge, rich and trying to often achieve their own immorality, invincibility and eternal life, apart and separate from their Creator. So for the purpose of this article, let’s define transhumanism as abilities given to mankind that are far superior than what God had designed, as well as the attempt to create a body to replace this one that God has designed to only walk on this earth for so long (Hebrews 9:27), as well as a way that man is devising to think to take their spirit and soul, uploading it for all eternity, as if these things are contained in the brain (memories, knowledge, etc.) (Genesis 2:7, 9:4; Leviticus 17:11). To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, without sin, unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:27-28 “Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.” 1st Timothy 5:24 There is a lot coming together, as far as understanding, from a biblical perspective, how to convey the obvious dangerous trap that the world is going head first into. To be honest, it is almost unbelievable the sneakiness of those who help to manipulate society to literally allow a prison to be put up around them, both virtual and physical. I have been asking God for wisdom to understand this, as well as how properly put this information out there, for whoever it might be that would consider their ways, repent towards God and by faith believe into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Acts 20:21), before they are left behind (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 4:1). If time remains and it is in the Lord’s will, then this material will be produced. FINAL UPDATE: So the seller on ebay checked with the post office who simply stated that the package had been lost in tranist. They were in the process of getting a refund, insurance, whatever they might have had for the package. I managed to go on with my used Gateway monitor that I picked up for $15. However, on 1/9/24 things changed, suddenly this monitor, with a huge gap in ‘where’ it was, shows up here in Rapid City, SD. Never forget, what Edward Snowden revealed and what some people alreadly knew, you simply can never for sure trust any sort of electronics that you receive. I wonder if I will receive the other one that never arrived in the future? But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.” Genesis 19:14 Imagine that you are driving in a rural portion of the United States, perhaps near Cut Bank, Montana. There you see a car in the distance, a mile or so ahead on the road. You are slowly gaining on the vehicle and as the car is in your sight, suddenly it just disappears! You look over at your passenger, to ask if they just saw where that car went, but they weren’t paying attention. Perhaps, if you are like me, you have actually heard some stories of bridges out and someone trying to warn people as car after car goes over the edge. Now you are watching the road carefully, ready for whatever may be up ahead (Matthew 24:42-44) and you start to cautiously slow down, taking heed (Matthew 24:4), as a bridge comes into view… For most, this is going to be a situation that will never happen. Though probably a large percentage of our fellow mankind will have one story or another of how they were ‘almost’ in the wrong spot or barely averted some sort of disastrous situation, perhaps sometimes for a reason (Hebrews 1:14)???
